It is not really fair for me to review these as I did not buy these for their "intended" purpose. I first got the multi sized set and was impressed by the quality of the material and uniform size. I used the solid silicone "rods" as raw material to make custom gaskets for vintage machinery. This worked out well for me as I did not have to buy full rolls of silicone rod when I only needed a few inches. After choosing the best diameter I ordered 1 more just in that size. I can make no claims as to their function in regard to the human body, but in one-of-a-kind and antique machinery, they are just great.
