One of the games that people always argue is the best Final Fantasy.The story is one of the weakest and rather basic in comparison but getting 2 games in a pack definitely compensates for that.The combat in FFX is easily the best there is.Every character has their own utility (except one sadly) so having the option to change members when needed really adds to the strategy of combat.Gone are the days where you end up sticking with the same three party members through a whole game. Levelling up is rather basic and means very little unless you're trying to stat max but the drive really comes from the gameplay and the end game content.The guts of each end game side quest really adds to the experience.FFX-2 also has its flaws but its saved by its combat. Class based gameplay but changing in battle (via a system where you can't have all equipped) means switching strategy but making sure each character is weighted properly is great.In short, there's a reason some will argue its the best Final Fantasy and once you play them, you'll see why.And what better way than to play on the go with the Switch.

This game is great, truly a testament to the golden age of Final Fantasy, however it can hardly be called a remastered edition. Having played it both on the PS2 and now the Switch it is clear that this "Remaster" is mostly a glorified port (not entirely).However don't let this discourage you from buying it! While if you still have a functioning PS2 and original copies of the games you might as well not bother purchasing it, if not it still an amazing play and well worth it if your a fan of RPG's, JRPG's or Final Fantasy as a series (even if it is a little on the pricey side given its age).

the game series and the game can be compared to no other. I have had this game on the PS2 when it was first out and to get the chance to play this handheld is a dream come true. the controls are easily transferrable to the switch controller and flow of the game as well as battle is a lot smoother. install time took approx 45 minutes to install along with the FF X2 game addon which seems to bundle X2 onto the cartridge from what I can gather..... (dont quote me on that) long have i dreamed of playing blitzball on the go and I now can haha

X is on the game card but X-2 is a download code within the box.Great game non the less since it was X that I was after... x2 is the bonus
