Just as you would expect....
If you a familiar with acid brushes, this is the same as all the rest. The quality doesn't seem any different no matter where you got them from. People with poor reviews expect far too much for far too little and don't understand the intent of these brushes. Personally I use them for grease, anti seize, contact cement, gasket maker, wood glue, etc..... I do use them for paint, but only in places where brush marks don't matter (I've used them to paint serpentine pullies, while the engine was running - not a task for a good brush!). Yup, they will leave horrible brush marks. Yup, bristles can fall out. Yup the metal handle can have sharp-ish edges. Nope, they don't clean well. If any of that bothers you, you are looking at the wrong brush for the wrong job. If you get the intent and know what an acid brush actually is (and that is a cheap-az brush to slop misc goop on and then throw away), buy with confidence - same as it ever was....

Excellent price and work very well.
Very nice brushes. I've used several and they work good. Don't come apart like others. Bristles are good and firm. Can't beat the price!

bristle loss - required repair
as the quality and price of these are adequate. I have found that they shed bristles worse than a shag dog's fur in summer. In hopes of fixing this problem, i took apart one of the handles. there is a way to permanently fix this. at the cost of a bottle of thick 2p-10 super glue. first, split the handle at the brush head> grasp the bristles > put a good smear of glue across the bottom where they have melted or semi glued it to start. push it back into the handle, squeeze or use the flat peen of a hammer to smack it back down. after this mod is done, wow. these things are fantastic. just a shame you have to do it 36 times. quality is there, just have to glue the base of the brush head back together to keep it from shedding. p.s. if you use thin glue and try to just drop it down from the base of the brush, it tends to wick up to the top of the brush and seize up everything. best to break them down and use thick glue to bind the base together. once i have used all of these i am for sure ordering a bundle from the torringtonbrushes site. now those are made at the highest level of quality. price is good too. just doesnt have that sweet sweet prime time delivery.

Handy brush for all types of use.
Great for cleaning in tight places. I use these to clean between the keys on my computer keyboard. The bristles are stiff enough to clean most tough debris.

good acid brushes
use these for grease application in tight spaces. the bristles are a little long, but are easy to trim with a pair of heavy scissors. the crimps on the handles are good so the bristles stay in place, making it easy to apply the grease to get the job done. the quantity included make this and excellent value.

Works for what I need it for
These brushes are great for applying lube on brake parts and small moving items. The bristles tend to fall out easily but it's ok, they're cheap enough to just throw away and use a new one without guilt. ๐
