Baby: Woof Woof! (Chunky Baby)

I originally purchased this for my 8-month old daughter because she absolutely loved the "chunky-flap book" we had ("Open the Barn Door"), as well as our other lift-the-flap books. I was disappointed that the "flaps" were more like inset pages than other lift-the-flap books (unlike "Where's Spot" and others, where the flaps are doors, or lids, etc.), and the text was less engaging (to me) than some of her other books. However, it soon became my daughter's favorite book -- I think she really liked the high contrast images, although she needed help lifting the inset pages (which she doesn't in other books). It was her favorite for a couple weeks, but she's now a bit bored with it...but still loves some of her other lift-the-flap books. It was probably worth it for the few weeks worth of fun she got out of it, but I'd recommend some other lift-the-flap books over this one.

Decent. The thick cardboard door flaps are really what makes this good. Difficult to destroy quickly. This title and “Colors “ are the best in the series. Colors being the best.

This book is very cute and sturdy with nice peek-a-boo pages. Unfortunately, I was looking for a book that featured dogs and thought I couldn't go wrong with a title like Baby: Woof Woof. Imagine my disappointment when I found that the book only featured one dog inside. The rest of the book contained other cute baby animals, and I know that the description says animals, I just supposed that with a title like Baby: Woof Woof, that dogs would be the animal portrayed on the majority of pages. It is still a nice book for my 14-month-old, but I thought that other parents looking specifically for a board book with dogs might like to be informed.

My 15 month old daughter loves this book so much! We checked it out from the library 1st & had it for many months & then someone put a hold on it & we had to return it & I knew I had to buy it. She loves flipping the tabs and looking at the animals, great book:)

My 15 month old loves this book and the other "baby" books in this line. The pages are a very thick cardboard, which is perfect for my rough toddler. He loves the pages and opening the flaps of the book!

OK. So my 16 month old loves this book, and has since she was less than a year old. The problem is that my wife and I are soooo sick of reading it. I guess it's a good thing, but she picks this book over the 20 or so others every time, and makes us read it over and over and over. I hear it in my dreams.

This book is my daughter's absolute favorite. From when she was 3 months continuing on until now (she's 8 months), this book will make her stop crying instantly. She literally giggles when we turn the pages. I don't know if it's the bright colors or the lift-the-flap aspect of it, but she can't get enough of this book. It's now one of my go-to baby shower gifts.

This is a great board book! The book itself is fun, but the big selling point is that the tabs are also board book material, not flimsy paper or lightweight card stock.
