Great hoodie
I've got to exchange mine for a size smaller. They fit big so I'd say go one size down from what you normally wear. It's very high quality and insulated very well.

If you are looking for a cotton lining......look no more
I have been on the lookout for quite sometime to replace a fiberfill lined sweatshirt (of my husbands) that I wear each morning in winter - (10-40)while walking a brisk paced 1 1/2 miles). The one i have is 35+ years old, When I found refrigwear I was hesitant to order thinking it couldn't possible meet the high standard I was looking for - WRONG - This is EXACTLY what I have been wanting, I've worn it several times walking in New England March. all temps under 39 degrees with a t shirt underneath. plenty warm. I purchased this as my winter walking sweatshirt as a coat is too restrictive for me. Anything over 40 degrees if you are a fast paced walker this will be too warm but it is perfect for those temperatures ranges. I will say that since it's a men's medium it is not a fashion fit as I am a 5'6 woman. the sleeves are designed for a man and the hip section is a tad snug but I'm sure it will "give" in time. I had my husband try it on - he wears a medium and it fit basically the same on him - The thing I am MOST excited about is the lining. It is a cotton jersey which is what I have been searching for as cotton is breathable. Thanks Refrigwear!not thermal, sherpa or slippery nylon quilt. Can you tell I am over the top with this on??? :)

If I were to make an ideal "blanket comfortable" sweatshirt, this would be it!
i work as a transit bus mechanic in the New England area. This past winter was record breaking and the coldest i've ever experienced. due to my job, we are expected to do road calls, constantly move buses from outside to inside the shop and being a drive through shop (garage door in, garage door out) the heat escapes quickly when doing this. i was in the market for a primarily warm yet comfortable hooded sweatshirt for these winter conditions to layer with whatever jacket necessary. so i looked at Carhartt, Duluth Trading, even the $200 Woolx one and came across a post regarding Refrigewear. naturally the thought of a company that made clothing specifaclly for food servoce storage workers peaked my interest and i thoyght the price was very fair considering the competition. i bit the bullet and bought the black one and LOVE it. it is truly the most plushy, comfortable sweatshirt ive ever had. i wore it for a week before ordering a 2nd in navy. so i have the black that stays at work and the blue for around town. the hood is large so when you wanna nap you can pull it all the way over your eyes. its seriously like a super comfortable blanket in swearshirt form. washes well. my only grip is the interior pocket is a little thin. other than that, very happy with purchase.p.s. the coldest days weve had SO far (mid Nov at this point) are high 20's and its worked very well. obviously layer one in the low teens and itll be a champ!

Hubby LOVES it!!
We live in Utah (super cold and a lot of snow) and my husband works outside all day as an electrician. He came home SO freezing one day I went on a search to find warmer clothing. I bought this because of the other great reviews, even though the price seemed a bit high. My husband wore it to work for the first time today and had to call and text me throughout the day to tell me how “bomb” this jacket was! Lol. He said he actually had to shed some layers because he was too hot! Now everyone working with him wants one, they were all looking up the other products this brand offers during their lunch hour so they could buy everything! My husband is a big guy (looks like a body builder) and is around 250 lbs and 6’1”. I ordered the 3x in lime because 2x wasn’t available but it still fits well with room for layers. Hubbie just asked me to order him another one in black and wants the same size. Get it!!Additional note- This even keeps my husband dry in snow and rain. It is super thick, with a unique material, not like a regular zip up hoodie/jacket. This is like a winter coat but more movable. Hubby still loves it after a year!

Second Refrigiwear Hoody
The hoodies are extremely warm. I work outside and during the Michigan winter I use this instead of a Jacket over layers. It is extremely warm . I do have to unzip it sometimes to cool off which is a good thing in my opinion. The only thing that could be improved is a better zipper ( my first one broke) and I kind of wished the hood had a liner/insulation in it also. But other than that , I wont wear anything else in the winter except for this. Well worth the money IMO. Update 12-19-21 , I have now purchased another one of these hoodies for my son who began working outside in Michigan winters and he loves his also , says he is amazed at how warm it keeps him while working outside.
