Frixion Ball Knock 4-Color Gel Ink Multi-Pen, White (LKFB-80EF-W)

I absolutely love the pen!!!!! The Frixion erasable pen itself is a game-changer for me. I'm a nurse who also has a bit of OCD lol. The multi-color and erasable aspect of the pen makes this perfecttttt! I love that I can get the pen refills to refill the individual pen inks instead of my past non-erasable and non-refillable pens where I have to try to finish off the other remaining colors before I move on to another pen (or worse - swap out to a different pen and have the remaining ones sitting there just be unused). Refilling is easy (twist off the pen cover and use a tiny bit of force to pull out the pen ink you want to replace and just stick the new one on and cover it back up). The only downside to this is if you write A LOT, the ink does run out pretty quick compared to usual pens. The eraser bit on top of the pen is really good and sturdy - I can see that it did slowly wear down a bit, but there's still a good amount to the eraser that I feel would last for at least another year (bought this pen Jan 2023). I've had multiple co-worker nurses ask me what pen I was using and I've also gifted many of them different color covers of this pen (blue, pink, pink gradient - there's more pen cover colors available!) and they also love it a lot.

Love frixion pens! I've been training at work and needed a multi pen so I didnt have to carry a bunch of pens. I tried a few others and the size/shape of the pen was too awkward and the colors were weak and inconsistent. I saw this and new it was the answer. The size is not too big. The inks are all very rich and full. I recommend Frixion pens a lot and now that will include this multi pen.

I have been using this pen for about a week now and I love it. It is easy and convenient to use. I have been using other Frixion pens for years and I love those as well, but I was tired of having multiple pens on my desk in class for detailed note taking. As others have noted, the ink does run out quickly (probably within a week or two with frequent use), but this is expected since the pen fits 4 colors and is only a little larger than the normal 05 Frixion pens. The larger size of this pen makes note taking more comfortable for me. I have read that some customers received gray ink instead of black-- I received black. Frixion's black generally tends to not be as dark as a non-erasable pen might be, but it is still black in color. The only drawback is that it is quite difficult to find refills for this pen because it takes much smaller refills than any of the other single-refill Frixion pens. This isn't a problem with the pen itself which is why my star rating does not reflect this issue. It can be quite difficult to navigate the many reviews and FAQs to find the refill you need. When I figure out the exact refill this pen takes, I will update my review to include those product numbers. I'm finding it even harder to locate the correct green refill, so I may cut back on my usage of that color.

This was my very first multicolor pen with an eraser and I was super excited about it. I am constantly writing at work and school and the multicolor pen came through! The eraser works great leaving no trace behind. The pens are gel-like and dries really fast. If you want to highlight a word you just wrote with this pen, it will not smear. It also does not leak through the page. The grip of the pen is super comfy and light weight. The only thing that gets me super sad is that the ink does not last very long. I used the blue ink every day and ran out after a couple of weeks or so. I started using the red and grey ink and same thing - did not last 3 weeks. If you want to try it out, I recommend also buying extra ink refills.

I absolutely love this pen! I learned the hard way that the "Americanized" FriXion pens were rubbish and to stick with the ones coming straight from Japan. Writes smoothly, erases well, doesn't leave extra smudged ink like the "Americanized" ones do. I would definitely recommend. I make very good use of it and feel it was very much worth the high price, especially since I use all 4 colors frequently to distinguish between the severity of my notes. I love having the option to cover up mistakes even though I'm writing in "pen" *The "Americanized" FriXion pens I'm referring to are the ones you can buy at any convenient store. Most common is the 0.7 pull off cap. The ink is sloppy and the eraser is softer so it leaves smudges and ghost shadows where your writing was prior to your attempt to erase.

Product looked used on arrival. The ink did not flow well and there were two little holes on the side, with some staining. The last one I had did not have these holes and the ink was amazing :/

They truly erase the ink. They come in several colors in the singles. The 4 color on one is great, just a little thick to hold on my hand, but I still use it daily. I do prefer the single color pens on this brand/style because they fit in my small hands a little better and more comfortable to use. I do wish the 4 in one came in different color scheme options. I have not tried it, but they do sell ink refills for these pens. I've considered making my own color scheme using the refills, just the color push downs won't match, so I'd have to remember. As much as I write at work and in a day planner the many appointments I manage for my family and for the family I work for (private home health), I'll never purchase another style pen. Very handy and more convenient than using white out when appointments change. Ink dries instantly and does not smear or rub off like pencil.

The pen came with gray ink instead of blank, and it did not work at all. I had to pull it out and check it, and only when blowing into the ink tube did anything come out. The gray ink is NOT erasable or even similar to the other inks. It just glooped onto the page when blown out, and if I blow while trying to write with the pen, it worked like it probably should have, and yet the ink is terrible and still not working as correctly. The other colors are as I expected. They are light and much less pigmented than normal inks, but VERY erasable. It leaves only the indentation from the pen tip. The pen does feel a solid bit more comfortable to hold and grip, but the smoothness and writing is less than I prefer.
