I wrote a review for this product under a different listing over 11 years ago, thought I'd revisit and give my latest information on it, just to let them know to keep doing what they do! This was the first thing that ever stopped and repaired my daughter's diaper rash. She'd come home from daycare with a horrendous rash that was maroon every day. We would try to get it gone with creams that we sent them, that they recommended from other parents, no change. This stuff would bring down the rash in an hour or so and restore comfort to our poor little one. She's 12 now almost 13 and still loves the stuff as it helps with the cuts and scrapes she gets from being a strong outdoorsy type. She'll come back from a bike trail and just clean up and get the Puremedy out and be healed up in a day or two most times. From my experience, I like the outdoors myself and keep this in my pack at all times. When you're out on a trail or setting up camp you don't always have access to clean water/antiseptics to clean up. I use this stuff on everything and just keep going. The healing is noticeably better than the 'sporin type medicines that are all based in petroleum jelly. There's something just better about how this applies and restores compared to that. I still keep a small jar of petroleum jelly on hand for fires/torches, that works great for that stuff and it's cheap! Puremedy works and heals and it isn't cheap by any measure. You don't need a lot of it for proper healing, the jar lasts a long time! Save yourself some cash and time and order the 2oz.

We used this Ointment on some dog bite wounds. With out a doubt this product sped up the healing process and helped keep the skin from growing over the stitches. The Nurse that removed the stitches was amazed on how good the wounds looked and healed.

A couple of years ago I had surgery that was leaving a nasty scar. A friend recommended PUREMEDY wound care ointment. I picked up a small tube and used it for about week before I noticed the scarring was fading and softer. I continued to use PUREMEDY until the wound healed. Two years later I can’t see the scar it healed smooth and supple. I keep this in my first aid kit as a standard first aid item.

but the lid isn't metal and both times I've ordered the plastic lid has cracked - - - - if you put this ointment on at bed time and cover - - - paper cut and deeper - skin abrasion - - no matter - - - it is pain free and well on the way to healing in the morning!

This is the best ointment I have ever used! As a person who is always around kids, I keep a small tube on hand with me in my purse for any small injury that might occur. I also keep a jar of it in my house at all times. It heals cuts and keeps them clean better than any product I have used. Other types of this product have harmful ingredients in them but this is natural.

It works if you use enough for long enough.

This ointment is expensive but so concentrated that you only need a tiny amount at a time. It doesn’t smell bad and seems to work well. Would buy again.
