Fair entry-level 4G phone
This is one of the latest Nokia phones, not actually made by Nokia any longer but by HMD Global a Finnish mobile phone company. The Nokia 3.1 Plus model is one of Nokia's entry phones with a large 6 inch screen but a fairly slow processor. The Amazon description of the phone is incorrect where it suggests it is (only) a 3G handset. In fact it's 4G/LTE enabled. This is a solid handset both in terms of build quality but also in terms of weight - it is not svelte! That said its curved edges make it fairly easy to hold - unlike some older Sony models. The all-glass front is not quite frameless with a noticeable at the bottom and top - the latter with Nokia printed on it. The rest of the phone is aluminium except rubber sections along the rear top and bottom. Overall the phone feels like it's good quality including a tactile, non-slippy, rear case.Whilst the phone has fair bit of inbuilt storage at 32Gb, with 3Gb of memory, with the storage expandable with a memory card, the processor is pretty basic and it shows in terms of a bit of lag when using the camera for example or opening larger PDF files. The screen is a good size at 6 inches but the resolution isn't great which if you look closely as the screen becomes apparent. There phone has, an increasingly outdated, micro-USB charging port rather than at USB-C input. It still has a standard audio socket. Bluetooth is also a bit dated being the 4.1 version.Luckily Nokia have installed a minimal version of Android on the phone that helps it run smoothly. This is part of Nokia's Android One initiative with Google. That said the phone is not running Android Pie, but will shortly. Also the battery life of two-days is pretty good.Overall this isn't a bad handset, but nor does it break any new ground. For the price though, and as an introductory phone, it's OK. Four stars.

Nokia a very underrated smartphone but I like them for the price you pay
Like all the new Nokia phones are good quality and it's a really good price just a basic smartphone fingerprint reader would be better on front of screen rather than at the back buy the camera lenses because if you put a cover on it you can't use the fingerprint reader I can't really say about battery life yet I've only had it a month but anything like my last Nokia smartphone it lasted forever over 4 years

Excellent phone
Phone is excellent, the only issue I am having with this particular unit is the sound, after using the headphone jack port, the phone seems to remain in jack mode even after unplugging, I discovered this only happens when I unplug while while music is still playing, a small work around is pausing my music before unplugging, not really sure if it's a software or hardware issue, otherwise it's not a deal breaker for me, I don't regret buying it.

Bad handset do not buy!
Likes: Design, display, sound, the Dislikes: Lag, camera and its appa is utter BS, apps keep dropping, sound although loud enough sounds more like a tin can, Wifi drops, battery just about alright, not many updates considering its an Android One device in Summary if this handset was £49.99 it be fully worth it

Easy to set up, easy to use, great camera
I'm no phone geek, but my previous phone had a terrible camera and I was looking for a new one. First of all, having a Plus size screen is fantastic. I'll never go back to small screen again!Secondly, the Nokia 3.1 Plus is ridiculously easy to set up. I moved my SIM from my old phone to this one and was using it as if nothing had changed within a few minutes of the swap over.Thirdly, the camera is brilliant. The detail, especially close up, is excellent and the filters and editing are simplicity itself.Battery life is excellent- nearly 48 hours of normal use and full recharge is a few hours. As I said, I'm no phone geek so I pretty much use this for surfing, emails, photos and as an alarm clock, so on that score it rates 10/10. My only tiny gripe is that it makes a ping noise when I like something on Facebook or Twitter. But that really is my only gripe. I would definitely recommend this phone.

Good for a budget phone
This is a phone that is rather smooth in its plain Google operator system. Battery has been god with almost over 5 hours screen on and playing intensive games is just about smooth. But for a hundred pound phone it has far exceed my expectation
