AFC Brand, Model # AFC-G7-PF1200 / AFC-G8-MF1200 Reverse Osmosis Membrane Water Filter, Compatible with GE (R) FQROPF PXRQ15RBL 2 Pack & GE (R) FQROMF Filter

When I installed these the middle one leaked at first but after removing it and reinstalling it, it fit perfect. I repressurized my tank and ran two tanks to clean the system out. The water on the third tank came out pure and ready to drink. This is my first time with after market filters and I am very happy with my experience. The only negative thing is it did not come with the replacement regulator that the original comes with but it is literally a small detail. I will have to alternate OEM with the original to keep the regulator functioning properly.

After 7 yrs of using a GE profile RO system, I bought compatible replacement filters. It was still pricey-$98, for the two filters and RO membrane cartridge. The filters and cartridge were lightweight plastic compared to the GE versions. The filtered water has never tasted right. At first I thought it might be residual from the new filters but it has gone downhill over the last two weeks to the point where I am going to order GE parts and replace everything. The water flow from the RO tap is very weak and for the first time, my system is making strange humming and hollow noises. Sigh.

My filters hum when actively filtering, and the water isn't as crisp tasting as the GE filters. Way cheaper though, I guess you get what you pay for. Also, let me preempt any speculation about the humming... I have experience with plumbing, and have swapped the filters many times so I know the humming was no fault of my installation.

I was initially happy after an easy installation. But after noticing an unpleasant taste, I used TDS meters to check the filtration. Almost none! Unfiltered water out of my tap was at 434 parts per million. RO Water AFTER these filters was still 395 to 405 ppm. (Acceptable range should be below 40 ppm). A waste.

Work just as well as the G.E. ones and we dont notice any difference in taste. Would purchase again.

Kinda wish I would have just spent the extra money for the GE brand filters as this will now cost me twice as much to purchase another set, the ones I got leak (all 3), others customers may have had better luck with these.

We usually use another maker's filters for our reverse osmosis water filter. This time we used these filters and the first thing I noticed is that the water tasted fresh and clean. We will definitely buy these in the future.

This product was defective. I had our plumber install and he said that there was no water flow through the filters. I’m really disappointed and would advise others to be cautious when buying this product.
