I received this version of the Bible as a gift about 14 or so years ago from my mom. Now is the time to retire her Bible that she gave me as a Christmas gift.I chose this version of the Bible as I had heard many good things about it and It's easy to read if you have a visual impairment or for anyone who wants to get a better view on THE WORD OF GOD.I bought the same version several months ago but it didn't have an index and I wanted my Bible indexed because it makes it easier to find the books of the Bible.The quality is very good as this is my first genuine leather Bible.The price for it was also reasonable as this will last me several years before I have to replace it again.The NSAB Updated Version is my personal favorite version of the Bible.

Best Bible I've owned by far. It's easy to read and to understand the words of our lord which are in red. I've researched a lot of Bibles looking for one that I didn't have to find the meaning of old fashioned words. The larger print makes for easier reading.I highly recommend this Bible to everyone, young and old alike, you'll be as pleased as I am.

This is a beautiful Bible! I was in need of something with a larger print, and even the typical "large print" Bible's still had fairly small font. This truly has a large font, and makes reading my Bible a pleasure again. The cover is a beautiful leather, and I love that it opens flat, no matter which part of the Bible I am in. I would absolutely recommend this to someone who is in need of a large print Bible!

The Bible was given as a gift to someone.Pros:- The Giant Print was perfect for the individual who prefers not to break out the reading glasses if possible.- The physical size of the Bible is smaller than other Giant Print Bibles, making it easier to carry.- Thumb-indexes- New American Standard- Price... Since it is hardback, it was obviously less expensive than bonded or genuine leather. Since my purchase was a gift to someone who did not have a preference as to his favorite translation, it was nice to find something reasonably priced in the meantime.Cons:- Hardback... Will not last as long as leather. To help the longevity, you can get a bible cover.- The Bible is somewhat heavy as a byproduct of the Giant Print. The wife of the recipient of the Bible has complained about how heavy it is. She had trouble using it herself comfortably.The Bible met my expectations. I worked in Christian about 7 years, so my expectations can be high. Overall, I was very pleased with the quality, layout, and readability of this Bible.

The print is what I needed. Large Print- Totally recommend this Bible

This is a really nice version of the Bible - physically, I'm not commenting on the contents. I have many translations and wanted to read the NASB. This is a quality book, well bound and presented. The paper is thin (as per any Bible), in some light a little show through from the other side, but you have to look for it, it certainly does not detract from reading. The print is good, it is large print and so very easy to read. The cover is an imitation leather type material and is amazing. Soft, flexible and hard wearing - I actually prefer it to some of the premium Bible covers like goats skin. It is a big book so not for the jacket pocket, but I carry mine most places in a small bag, its not heavy just physically bigger than a 'novel' type book.If you want a NASB I would really recommend this one. The print size makes it easy to read - even with uncorrected vision and so a pleasure to read - I often find Bible print just a little too small to be comfortable for long periods of reading. There is a little space around the text to make the odd notes etc. but not a lot if you like to write in your Bible.As a quality 'go anywhere' Bible, easy to read in most lighting, and nice to hold because of the quality of the physical book this is a definite five stars.

No negatives for this bible. We wanted large print and this is exactly that and as a bonus the type face is dark which adds to it's readability. Verse by verse numbering so it is easy to find verses. Paragraphs are marked by blacker print. Leather type covers are fine and the bible is easy to handle.Years ago I used a NASB and then changed, more recently to NKJV, however I disliked some of the word use in the NKJV. The NASB is a 'breath of fresh air' in its' use of language and both my wife and I now prefer the NASB. We have now nearly read all of the new testament translation. Our exploration of the NASB old testament is relatively sparse at this time so our comments on interpretation of necessarily limited at the moment. If you need a large text, this is the best bible for ease of reading, and we enjoy the translation over other versions.

Giant print - yes - but not leather bound, which is how Amazon advertise it. It's actually Leathertex which, in this case, I'm pretty sure is just a form of imitation leather. Though it's a very nice bible, I am disappointed and consider it to have been mis-sold.
