Q: I live very near Andrew James facility , £20 return postage ,could i take it back myself?

I don't know. But if you're within say 20 mins (by foot or whatever) worth trying to save £20 by going there and trying. Or call them?

You can get a new filter from Andrew James direct, but relatively expensive

Q: How long for a pot to brew? Ive only filled it to the 5 cup line and it's taking about 30 mins 😑

30 minutes is broken, a full pot takes under ten minutes. Is your mains supply defective? If the machine is old then a descaler solution cleans out the hard water deposits but if it's new and the mains isn't the issue then the coffee maker should be exchanged as faulty.

Q: Is this a 24hr programmer? As is can I set it up the night before to come on the next morning?

Hi, Yea you can do that. You set the current time and then the time you want it to turn on (24hr clock format). It takes around 5-10 minutes to brew a Large starbucks size cup so it's a good idea to set it a little early. I have been using mine like this for around 5 years daily and it's still going strong with the original mesh filter. Paper filters make a nicer coffee though
