The media could not be loaded.  It's tall enough for the squirrels having to scale the pole successfully before reaching the bird feeder. They will be able to do so, unless you apply some grease or oil. I use foodgrade mineral oil, so that I don't poison the squirrels. As a result, it's quite entertaining to watch! I apply the oil probably at least every other day, but it works nicely. Here's a super short clip - it had tried already 3 times that day!

I had a long, fairly heavy wind chime that needed a tall really sturdy shepards hook. I tried it on some of the ones I use for bird feeders, and it swayed and came close to touching the ground. This hook was just perfect. Thick, strong metal, and all one piece aside from the wielded on fork. And those in ground forks are REALLY long as well, so gets a deep purchase i to ground. I live in a fairly rocky area, so did take some time to find a spot without good size rocks to set it, but once in ground- perfect!

You will see in my attached photos that we used two shepherds hooks to hold up the backdrop at our wedding ceremony and they didn't disappoint. The whole wedding ceremony was a success and it was completely due to the fact that these shepherds hooks were able to maintain their maximum holding potential. We needed two to balance the back drop and they were flawless in their delivery. Thanks!

I have shepherds hooks at home that are crappy and bend over when I'm just watering a 10in. diameter plant! I wanted something with a heavier gauge steel. I wasn't sure what the diameter width should be in order for it to be sturdy enough for my heavy glass hummingbird feeder. But THIS IS IT! It comes in a whole piece so there's nothing to screw in or put together. And its so THICK and STURDY that you could threaten to dangle your 10yr old kid from it if he's acting up! 🤣 LOL! All jokes aside though, its exactly what I needed and will outlast any shepherd's hook you already have.Gonna stock up on more of these!

Finally, a hook tall enough for my hummingbird feeder! I just added an ant moat onto the hook and hung the feeder to it. No ants, an 18” squirrel baffle and no squirrels, no ants, just hummingbirds! The only thing I would love to see on it is more prongs to go into the ground, 4 would be great.

This is my third 9’ Shepherds Hook that I use for bird feeders. Zero yard damage, easy to erect and provides a great view for us to watch all the interaction among the birds. Highly recommend.

Use these to hang 8 inch round metal pistol targets. Perfect. 9mm bullets get deflected off them also. Has not displayed any significant damage from direct hits from bullets.Use these taller ones to mimic head shots.

We’ve literally purchased these 4 times. 3 of the old style and this is the first time in the new style. They are all over our front and back yard. They hold bird feeders and much more. Great quality and functionality and looks. Will obviously be buying again I’m sure.
