This 20kg is thiner than 5kg PVC plate)!5) fits perfectly in 28mm hole of any the 28mm rod.Cons:1) Smell of chemical initially (went away after few days of use though).2) Loud if dropped on the floor (can even damage the floor) as it’s made of raw iron3) finishing not smooth & consistent, it has sharp edges, so if it falls on your leg, it fan seriously damage you: BEGGINERS BETTER USE RUBBER PLATED weight plates, they’re much safer (but for the price which the body maxx comes at, it’s good. Rubber coated 20kg weight plates don’t come cheap)!4) Around 19.5kg weight (each plate) instead of 20kg each.For a value home gym setup, these suffice, but as you upgrade to 50mm rods, invest in better quality plates then this (preferably rubber coated). But for 28mm rods, these affordable iron plates are worth it. You could go for these if you are a complete beginner. It took a lot of time to deliver but I'm happy with the product which I got! Gyms won't open anytime soon and even if they do there's a lot of risk involved. Go for it if you want to set up a basic starting level home gym for mild workouts.

Quality of the plates is very good. But there is a differnce in weights. Plates are not exactly 5 kg. 3 are above 5 kg and one plate is 60 gms less.

I got these plates at about 76/kg through card discount.Pros-It should be available at about 65/kg seeing it's build quality and finishing. It is steering type and easy to grabCons-100 gm underweight, poor finishing

Shape of the product is not good.

Switching to metal from rubber. Rubber plates are lighter than metal plates dk why? But its truth.Over for begineers its great to buy at this price.

Product is ok. But casting quality to be improved. There are non filled holes which is a casting defect. And painting is low grade.
