Cats love them
My two cats love these scratching posts. I keep them near the couch to prevent temptation. They usually last a few years before needing to be replaced.

EXACTLY what I wanted!
My cat constantly rubs his head up against things around the house. I’ve seen a lot of different types of scratchers, but not what I wanted. Then I found THIS!! Exactly what I wanted. The bristles are perfect texture. It looks nice, good size, and great value. Most importantly my pet enjoys it.

Could be taller if your cat is big.
My kitties love this but they don’t t know what to do with the brush. I wish it was about six inches taller because my big boy knocks it over when he using the scratch post. My cats always lie on the floor to scratch so it’s not a problem for us.

It's a good cat-scratching post. It's been awhile since I bought it, and my cat still uses it regularly. I'd call that a win!

cat LOVES it
My cat is obsessed with this, especially with the brush part. I had to show him how to use the brush at first as he hadn't seen something like this before, but he caught on quickly. He is a very big cat, so I shoved the base of the scratcher underneath my coffee table to help keep it from potentially tipping over.

Long lasting!
My cats never used the attached brush. This unit is a rope design and my cats tore it apart. Sisal is best if you want to save your furniture. I have two (2) cats and three (3) posts. All Sisal and they use them multiple times each day.

Great for smaller cats, may need a taller post for older cats. My guy never took to the brush.
Was a staple of our living room for the first couple years of us having my little guy. He eventually outgrew it and needed a taller scratch post, and never really took to the brush, but it did its time and served its purpose well. Withstood a lot of abuse. Eventually it did start to fray and fall apart, but only after being used heavily, daily for multiple years.
