I like the added back support rest, and it folds down if you don't want to use it. Also works with the rest on your front as a chest rest or elbow rest for glassing. This one seems constructed out of thicker guage piping which adds a heft and sense of durability but it's still overall light weight and fits folded up on my Maxpedition Day Packs external gear strap conveniently with very little rattle or noise when walking slow. Only draw back is the narrow base means it's incredibly unstable on anything but mostly level ground or while sitting on a slight downhill slope. Really helps extend the time I can comfortably sit glassing or in a stand.I recommend wrapping the leg poles with a thin layer of electrical tape or hunters wrap to improve the stealth and sound proofing, but otherwise in my opinion, a solid all-around good, general purpose light weight stool for: Camping, hunting either big western game or sitting in a blind for eastern white tail, shooting ranges, glassing, wildlife watching/photography, it would work well in all these applications. Plus it has a pouch in the seat that's great for things like snacks, extra ammo, extra film, etc.

I love this! Bring it out anyplace there’s no seating! Feels sturdy for me and nice little storage pocket. The only thing I would change is maybe put some rubber around the bottom metal but only if it’s placed on concrete. Would be fine on grass or dirt

Bought for ice fishing. Much thicker pipe than other brands and doesn’t seem to struggle holding the weight. I’m 190 and it seems fine

Chair was well built and comfortable, but it was very low and with no arms, was difficult to get up.

These are light weight and easy to carry around but the back rest goes back to far would be nicer if it stayed up straight and the bar under your legs isnt comfortable

I have not tried it yet, but have had this style before, but this is very well made and of a metal. I'm sure the fabric will go long before the metal, not saying the fabric is bad it is very good also. Some people might complain that it is to heavy.

This is a great stool for the price. It's sturdier than most because of the tubular base design, much better than legs. The fabric is tough and big enough for an average Canadian ... though maybe not an average American! The pouch underneath is large and has a good zipper. The carrying strap is convenient. It is heavier than some alternatives, but that is the trade off for quality. It's just the right height for tending a small fire. Perfect!
