Evaluate your bridge hand for better results!
This is one of the clearest explanations of hand evaluation using "Klinger Count" that I have come across. Written in a minimum amount of pages and with LOTS of problems to work through. The latter part of a he book has a wonderful description of Losing Trick Count and how to respond with LTC. This book is a 'must buy' for your bridge collection.

Abstract math at the bridge table
Marilyn's approach to bidding a bridge hand is unique. It could only come from a mathematical mindset.I thoroughly enjoyed reading and applying her style to my bridge game.

American System biased
There are some good ideas, notably the use of the Klinger count as a tool for evaluating when to open hands which are weak in terms of high card points. However if you are a British Acol player then the book becomes a difficult read because it assumes that you play the American SAYC system (5-card majors and strong NT). Her style is somewhat cryptic and she assumes a lot of knowledge about forcing 1NT, Bergen raises, Ogust etc. some of which may well be known under a different name in the UK, but no explanation is given in the text.
