Trunk lid struts
These were an exact replacement for the original on my Mazda RX eight. Took 30 seconds to install both of them they work perfect.

2004 Mazda RX-8 Trunk Strut Replacement - works great
Forgot how "soft" my old struts were. I was used to providing "manual assist" every time I opened the deck lid.Now I have to be careful when I open it as it really pops up!LIke for like fit, installed just like the original.

a bit too strong
they work but they are quite strong. so instead of the trunk slamming if it falls, now it slams open if I'm not carful.but for the price i guess i cant complain too much
