Sometimes the smallest things can make a big difference. I needed some new hand towels in my bathroom. Hand towels are one of those items that I use and value. I'm constantly washing my hands (thank you Covid) so they get wet quickly. And when I wash my face in the morning or before bed at night, I want a fresh, dry, clean towel. I checked out the local home stores which I thought were overpriced and overhyped. Then I saw these. THE TOWELS I was hesitant to order these towels because they seemed too good to be true. Twelve towels for twenty bucks sounded suspicious. But I figured if I really hated them, I'd ship them back. They are not going back. I absolutely love these towels. They are generously sized and very thick, soft, and fluffy. I feel like I'm enjoying a curated spa experience every time I reach for a towel. It's not just a utilitarian item. It's a small pleasure. Maybe I'm getting so giddy because the towels they replaced were truly horrible (small and scratchy). These towels are a major step up for me. As with all new linens, I washed them when they arrived before using them and they washed beautifully. SUMMARY These towels are an incredible value for the money and I would not hesitate repurchasing the next time I need towels.

I was impressed with the quality of these Amazon Basics towels! They’re a nice balance as a mid-weight option, just what I wanted. Not too plush, soft not scratchy absorbent, and a bright white color. They look nice enough for guest use. They dry fairly quickly and the size, 16x26 inches give plenty of drying surface. These were perfect for my high use kids' bathroom with where frequent changes are necessary. After the first wash and dry, I noticed a little lint, but it was similar to what I've seen with other new towels. The towels feel soft afree washing with no loose threads or thin areas, and they shrank only slightly. I was impressed and decided to order another pack of 24, to use in all our bathrooms. Unfortunately, in the last week the price has increased $8.30! I still plan to reorder hopefully when the price drops a bit. If you're looking for a quality everyday use hand towel, of good size, weight and looks great - I recommend these!

Looked for years for a hand towel that resembled white Ikea Haren brand towels. Regular bath hand towels were a bit too long, pricey, and too fancy to use for cleaning up biological messes. These hand towels are the same width as the Haren towels and only half an inch shorter. The only thing missing is a loop to hang them up. Easy enough to sew some on., if needed They are thick without being too plush. Absorbent and perfect for cleanups. 100% durable cotton. Used daily, they've held up well over the past year and a half. Would defnitely buy again, but no need so far. The label says made in India, but since they're Amazonbasics, you never know where they'll be sourced from next. It appears the price is less now than when I bought them.

The towels are as expected, very absorbent and a good size. My only complaint was they had a musty smell to them. Definitely plan on washing before using!

I bought these towels three years ago to use in my massage practice. I still use them! Not a single one has frayed, and they have hardly lost any of their thickness. I am so impressed with these towels. They are also the perfect size for spa towels. I bought a different kind that was an inch shorter on both sides, and I can only use those for feet wraps because they do not cover many of my client's backs, and they are too small for neck holds. I hope these haven't changed because I plan to buy more.

I use these on the daily for floor clean up. They are used and washed/bleached weekly. They have held up great and clean up well. They are good quality also if you need to use them for hand towels!

Twenty years ago I was able to buy decent white shop towels off the shelf from discount retailers and auto supply stores. However, over the years, shop towels from those sources have significantly declined in quality. The last few packages of shop towels that I have purchased were thin and see-through when new and become threadbare and full of holes after laundering a few times. Over the last several years I have tried purchasing shop towels from both brick and mortar and online sources, but every time I have been disappointed. Fortunately, I am pleasantly surprised at the quality of these towels. Upon receiving them, I wash them in a “optic white” 115 minute laundry cycle and dried them. I am impressed with how little lint they left in my dryer filter and how substantial they are. After folding them into sixths to match the footprint of my quarter-folded,shop towels, a stack of six of these towels measures almost 10 inches tall. To do a comparison I folded my smaller shop towels into sixths so there would be the same number of layers of towels. The stack of six shop towels waa just under 6 inches. This tells me these new towels are 40% thicker than the shop towels! Although these are not as plush as white hand towels found in a luxury hotel, they are perfect for my utilitarian requirements. I’m so glad I finally found towels that meet my needs. I’ve included side-by-side photos of these towels, compared to my shop towels, and a picture of my dryer’s lint filter.

So far have been very impressed with these towels. Hoping they hold up well. They actually dry, nice and soft, maybe a little thinner (not actually thin or cheap feeling) then some might like but for the price I wasn’t expecting super plush lush towels,

These towels are great! Love the color as it helps ‘hide’ the dirt build up over the day & multiple hand drying. The towel dries your hands well & it feels soft. Good purchase 👍🏼

I received these towels quickly. They aren’t thick and not too big, exactly as I wanted so I can change them often. I opened and washed them all immediately and the colour is still uniform and hasn’t faded. I wanted lighter, smaller towels to change every day, and these are perfect. The price works out to about $3.00 per towel, so they are reasonable.
