Easy Reading
From a layman's perspective, the book is interesting. I also believe that anyone in an emergency management profession would find it valuable, resourceful, and insightful -- especially someone just taking on such a role. For them it should be a "must read".

Startling!
As a survivor of both "The High Park Fire" in Colorado and "Hurricane Irma" in Florida I had a very basic knowledge of how the emergency management systems work. It is unbelievable how well the people in charge take control and solve such wide ranging problems with a system that is basically poorly organized. A new found respect for people who are in these fields and a feeling of anxiety for "the big one!" Excellent book.
