I recently started making my own cold process soaps and skin care products and learned about kaolin clay. It’s in powder form and I add it to all my soaps for a gentle exfoliating and skin brightening effect. Pros: the company is a small family owned business that supports the community. I’m all about purchasing from family owned companies and supporting. The clay comes double bagged so the powder stays contained and not messy. There is a generous amount of powder for the price you are paying. Clay also comes with a bunch of tips from the owner on different skin care products to make with it. Nice little touch! The price is fair for the amount you receive. Cons: none

Never knew about Kaolin Clay before I started making me own deodorant. This is a great product. I use it in my deodorant and powders.

I used this mixed in water to protect my squash plants after three were eaten by bugs. This works well for gardening. I also sprayed it on my tomatoes In the heat and had a lot of new growth. It helps keep the temperature down for the plants and the caterpillars didn’t eat the leaves. Just have to reapply after it rains.

I have a small business as a soapmaker and needed some Kaolin clay. I have wholesalers I get many products from but I did not have 7-14 days to wait so I looked on Amazon and found this product is offered by another small business! I always try to support another small business when I can. It's just the right thing to do. I am so glad I found this company. The kaolin clay is fabulous and the packaging was really thick, durable, held all the fine powder within the bag. For extra precaution, it was then placed in a second bag in case of rough shipping after leaving the warehouse. I thought that was ingenious because the kaolin clay I normally get comes in a thin bag that's always intact but sometimes dusty. The packaging was top notch so they obviously made huge improvements. I will try to buy from this business again as I see they have other clays which my wholesaler does not always have in stock. or my business is too small to buy the large quantity requirement. Also as a newer small business, I look at everything other small businesses are doing that I like so I can borrow their idea. So, that is why I place so much value and emphasis on packaging. It really gives the customer impression that the company and product is reputable. In this case, I was thoroughly impressed and will be buying other products from them in the future.

I am using it for my garden fruit trees not as a beauty care product so my review is regarding the form or not the latter. The clay powder is safe to use on fruit trees, and it confuses the insects and such critters so it helps protect against their invasion in an organic natural way. The package was generous, and the price was good. It was packed with Care because the actual product package was enclosed within an extra plastic bag — so the shipper was knowledgeable enough to know about this fine powder can seep out during shipping sort of similar to a paper package for baking flour. So the extra plastic bag helped keep most of it within the confines. There was only a little bit slight dusting powder that had escaped. So overall, it arrived in good shape.

I bought this because it was suggested as a natural way to get bugs off of my pumpkin plants however, it being a face mask is a total bonus too. I’m extremely sensitive to anything that may irritate my skin and this actually had zero bad effects on me, which was great. I’m so happy to find something affordable that can work on my skin. That’s easy to use. Ironically, the do it yourself tips that say putting this on your pumpkin plants will make bugs stay away, seems to be working also so I love it for both effects. I’ve added pictures of using the facemask as a face mask and also a picture of what my pumpkins look like before with little bugs on it and they do it yourself information. I found online saying to use this on the leaves and pumpkins seems to have runoff the pumpkin bugs today, which is amazing

Let me start with... when I originally ordered this, it came shipped in the usual Amazon bubble wrap mailing envelope, which ended up cut open somehow, being held by the post office, necessitating a trip into town, and my subsequent refusal of the order. Not to be deterred, I quickly reordered it, realizing it was not the seller's fault. The second order was shipped in a sturdy paper envelope and arrived safely! I have now used the clay twice now, and I love it. I use it to make a clay mask for my hair, adding hair conditioner, drops of essential oil, a few drops of purple toning drops, and squalene oil, mixing it easily into a paste. The clay mixes easily, does not clump, and does a wonderful job of brightening my hair. Give it a try. It has many uses for skin and hair. It is very affordable and is half the price of what I used to buy and does the same quality job.
