This is a great Apple Watch band. It looks great. It’s sturdy. The only problem is it won’t charge through the waterproof back. I’ve tried two of these catalyst watch bands and neither of them would charge. I like the band though. I ended up just using a razor and cutting out the back rubber so the charger has direct contact with the watch. I’m not going to be swimming with it anyway. I’ve tried three different chargers and two different bands and nothing worked. I think the plastic backing is just too thick for the charger to connect to the watch. It’s too bad. I’m not going to return it because I do like the sturdiness of the watch band and the look of it. I just don’t think it’s worth $79.Update- 6/21/19The catalyst company contacted me regarding my experience with their watchband. They sent me not only one replacement but an additional replacement as well. Their customer service has been exceptional. I absolutely love the watch band. It’s the only band that I would want to wear. I wish they would come back with the whole army green color band. That was my first band and I loved it. They no longer have the all green band. I have the gray band. I installed the new band and placed it on the charger and at this point it appears to be working. It must’ve been a defective one that I had before. I took a bad mountain bike still a couple of days ago and were it not for this band, my watch would’ve been toast. I highly recommend this band.

This case has been nothing but awesome. I have had one since I got my Gen 1 Watch in 2016. The most recent one for some reason cracked last week but apart from that, and this one I ordered having a random grey band, it has been the best. I currently have a Gen 3 iWatch, and the case from the 1 Gen does *not* fit, FYI.

I am now working on the fourth case. There has never been a problem with the case’s ability to be waterproof or shock proof. The problem has always been with recharging the watch. My watch does not recharge well if at all while I the case. It is a royal pain to have to remove the watch from the case each night to charge it.I find that this is a very expensive case-the most expensive I have seen-to have this kind of problem.On the plus side Catalyst has been extremely helpful in trying to rectify the problem. They have replaced the problematic cases at no cost to me and without having to return the cases. Their profit margin per case must be extremely high.

I am very tough on my watch, which is why I wanted a very durable protective case. I have purchased two of these and they both lasted less than a year. The first case broke open while I was fly fishing and knocked it against a rock. The good news is the waterproof covering works great, as my watch stayed underwater for more than 12 hours before I could find it and it still worked. The second case broke last week when I knocked it against a door accidentally and the seal cracked. This case is very good looking, but if you are looking for something to withstand rugged outdoors this isn't it.

Let me start by saying that this case DOES work to help keep your watch safe from water. I went on a 1 week Caribbeancruise and was concerned about the salt water and sand exposure. While using the case, there was absolutely no water getting to the watch. During the cruise, I would use the case when swimming. but remove it when attending dressier events. On the last day, when removing the watch from the case, the screw hole cracked. This left the case unusable. I have not yet attempted to return/exchange the item, but thought I would enter this review nonetheless.

Just received case, cake packaged nicely and was easy to assemble with instructions. Quality seems good and I am eager to see how well it holds up to my everyday. I am a mechanic and have had my Apple Watch for a couple years in another style of case and it got a lot of dirt in crown button. Hoping this case solves that problem, it seems like it will but only time will tell.

I am a farmer and fear wearing my Apple Watch while doing hay and damaging it. This watch band is great with its side protection and love how snug I can make the band. I love that it is waterproof as well. Now I know the watch itself is supposed to be waterproof but I need that extra piece of mind being out in all conditions, including rain.

Case is nice but breaks easy as expected with plastic with many ridges and parts for sealing including threaded section for small screw.Broke original case within 1 week. Customer service replaced it promptly. 2nd case broke after 11 months. They are sending me another a 2nd replacement.Customer service A+Product D fragile

I purchased a case for my watch 3 months ago and it was ana amazing piece of protection when I was surfing and rock climbing etc. sadly it broke by the screw piece. I contacted catalyst service and they were more than helpful and after some photos they replaced the case. Fantastic costumer support and amazing products

Absolute rubbish. Popped open and the watch fell out. Luckily it was only scratched and not smashed, as Catalyst weren’t interested in helping at all. It was ugly and uncomfortable, I only used it for protection, and it drastically failed at that, it’s primary function!Avoid.

This product is amazing! Super easy to put your Apple Watch in and worth the money to protect your watch! I work in a rough environment so I am hard on watches but after a few weeks this still looks brand new. Keeps your watch securely to your wrist as compared to the stock Apple band. Makes your Apple Watch look like a g-shock so adds a little size but I’m wearing the 42mm and don’t really notice the size difference.

This case came as advertised. I wanted something a little more sturdy and completely water tight. This fit the bill.Easy to put together with clear instructions. If I could fault anything I would like to have had a small cleaning cloth come with the case to clean my watch before it went in. But that’s being pretty picky.Haven’t had it long to see how it wears over time but so far so good.

The plastic case that the watch is surrounded in is vary cheap. Looks like something you would buy for 10$! Pore produced. Would not recommend this to a friend. I ordered the black and got the grey one
