Poorly designed adhesive on an otherwise great liner
As other reviewers have noted, the adhesive backing on this liner is great...until you try to remove it. The glue is very strong, but the backing layer for it is extremely flimsy and not only falls apart, but seems to become 'melted' to the fabric of your underwear such that it takes forever to fully remove the torn strips (and you probably will end up damaging your underwear somewhat from picking at the bits of leftover liner).I really want these to work, for three reasons: 1) over the years I've come to realize that normal panty liners made from polyester and plastic fabrics cause chronic itchiness and odors, and since using these (being made from bamboo) both those issues went away - so much more comfortable; 2) as a cyclist, I need a liner that doesn't 'fray' and become torn up from friction when I exercise, and 3) I'm tired of white liners on black panties that make me feel like I'm wearing a diaper all the time. So, I tried a couple things, and I found a way to make them usable: before putting them on, thoroughly wet the adhesive backing side with water; just run your hand under the faucet and pat them down, not so its soaked but just so the glue side is damp. Sounds dumb, I know, but this seems to diminish the adhesive glue enough that it will still stick, but it's not SO sticky it causes the backing to tear (as long as you are gentle when removing). Hopefully this helps someone else get use out of this liner, and maybe future production batches will resolve this!

Good, but plastic backing is delicate.
I use these as "garment guards" on shirts.Comparing:The black ones I used previously, by a different brand, were thicker and the adhesive was in the middle and I had to use double stick tape to secure the edged. These, thin. They are the same size as the previous brand.I wondered if they would absorb. They did!The black top sheet maintained integrity with movement (didn't rub off or leave black lint on me).Adhesive is VERY sticky and only put a wee bit of double stick tape on the edge wings because it covers more surface. However, the BACKING will tear easily. The plastic is thin and delicate. That is one area I hope the company improves. No irritation. No weird odor as it touched my skin, as some products can react in that way.It felt good, like nothing there. The ONE issue is the backing. If you have to reposition, you could tear it.

Adhesive transfers to fabric...
Want to love these for their color and biodegradability but the adhesive transfers to the fabric with absorption, and seems like absorbency is not reliable. Otherwise, comfortable but design needs improvement.

Decent pantyliner
This works. It's black, so that's what I needed. I like that it is compostable, so it doesn't add to the world's garbage pile. My only complaint is that when you peel it off your underwear, the backing sticks to the underwear and you have to pick it off. Other than that, it works fine.

Verrrrrry smallllllllll
Pad is TINY. Not to be used for any absorbency needs for sure. Maybe just a "keep it fresh" pad??

Almost great
I love that the liners are organic with charcoal-infused, and love the color -- looks perfect in most of my panties. But the adhesion needs to be better. When it's time to change the liner, some remnants of the adhesion strip are left behind -- not a good thing for panties. And sometimes it's not too easy to remove the liner from the backing in the packaging. It sorta complex to separate it from the backing before usage.

Need to change the adhesive
This other wise perfect black linner has a problem. It sticks to the fabric and it is very difficult to remove the remanent. The manufacturer has to improve this detail. Talk to 3M. I will be willing to pay more to avoid the hassle.

What a great idea! why don’t more companies make these?
TMI, I asked my ob gym for an IUD after months of irregular periods. I have occasional spotting and never know when Aunt Flo is going to try and make an unplanned visit, so I stocked up on liners. These are very breathable, absorbent and thin. The adhesive is sticky enough and doesn’t budge, even after a long workout or run. Best of all, they are black so they match my panties. This company seems to care about its consumers, if you search amazon, there is a generous sample pack for only $1, shipped free with prime. I bought it just in case I need something for heavier flow, but so far these are super absorbent and all I need.

Black fluff!!
So, I decided to give these a try because I was happy to finally come across another brand of black liners - there is one other well known brand who does black liners, but they are quite thick, stiff and uncomfortable to wear. While these liners are more comfortable to wear, as others have said, the backing comes away when you remove them! The only way to remove the backing is to put your undies through the wash which is no biggie, but still very annoying that it happens in the first place! The manufacturers seriously need to sort this problem out!The other problem with these liners is that they leave black fluff on your lady bits! Again, nothing a good old wash won't sort out, but still annoying that it happens in the first place and definitely not an attractive look! For the love of God, do not wear these liners if you have any form of midwife/gyno appointment coming up ladies!

Would not recommend
Unfortunately the adhesive side of the pads adhere too well. Removal is difficult, leaving a large part of the exterior of the pad firmly stuck to underwear.

too sticky
These are awful, you can't get them off your underwear, they disintegrate and leave sticky bits which are really hard to get off, had to give up. Can't be good for the washing machine when the underwear is then washed. I think I will have to throw them away. They can't have tested these properly.

Awful
These are very very poor quality. They do not peel off cleanly, leaving strips of white and black sticky tape which is very difficult to remove. They also cause sorenessI’ve tried three time and am not satisfied with quality. I wish to return what remains, ie two whole boxes and one box minus the three I’ve tried

Glue too sticky
These liners disintegrate when you try and remove them leaving glue and lots of paper on your pants. I had to use sticky stuff remover to rescue my cotton knickers.
