the non-skate skate shoe
I've only had them for a week but here are my impressions.as durable as Osirus's "regular" cut skate shoes. good sole, very grippy, true double or triple (can't tell) layers at the ollie area. padded tongue and back keep your foot planted whether you tie them tight or not. hard sole bed (the shoe foundation, between the sole and insole) just like other skate shoes, which is sort of deceptive, since they look like your standard soft foam running shoe. also unlike regular running shoes, they are flat front to back instead of raised at the heel - again, just like other skate shoes. they have breathable fabric but they still get hot due to all the padding - better than all leather though.I was looking for some skate shoes that didn't look like your standard DC shoe clone but still worked the same. this pretty much does that. I'm an older skater with a few recovered foot injuries and I really can't stand regular skate shoes, they are all flat and un-supportive and they've been this way for 30 years. although these are about the best I've found in a skate shoe, I still had to replace the insoles with real athletic insoles with more arch / heel support. also, these run a bit small, I had to go up a half size. so to those who find these "comfy", you may still have young forgiving feet because they really aren't - just like all skate shoes.I knew I'd have to fix them going in, so I only dropped a star (maybe as shoe company owners get older, they'll want to fix these too), they're still good for skating and walking, just don't take up actual running in them.

good
They are the right size and I love the way they look but the insoles aren't quite right so I'll have to get some new ones
