Opened the 50lb and found a huge bug infestation. Giant waste of money. Gross!

Not full weight
Received this today I guess when they say net weight they mean bag too? Only received 48 pounds of spelt not 50lbs. I triple checked the packages that I made with a very accurate, highly sensitive scale, had my spouse check the weights, and yep only 48 pounds of product.

Fresh baked bread fromm fresh milled Flour!
I work at a you pick farm and we have a market. One thing I've wanted to do is bake bread from freshly milled flour. I was a little hesitant having read some of the negative reviews but I am pleased to say the product arrived on time and in good condition no dirt no tiny rocks no junk like some of the few negative reviewers...just clean grain ready for milling.I'll probably upgrade this review to 5 stars once Ive made my first batch of bread. To the negative reviewer all I can say is 'karma is such a bitch!'

But this produces really great tasting bread
I used to miss German bread, but after finding this and some other grains from them I finally are able to produce my own German bread. The store bought flour never really worked. But this produces really great tasting bread. I love that I can have this delivered to my door. Everything is clean and I haven't seen any foreign objects. This is my second bag. I'm very happy with my purchase and keep reordering this. Thank you.

Great spelt, great price, enough said.
I've been making breads, pastas, cookies, waffles, pancakes, and birthday cakes with these spelt berries for months now and I love them. I have yet to come across any bad berries as I'm getting through the giant bag I bought. Delicious, healthy, and a good price. This at-home grain-milling food snob is happy with her purchase :)

Went bad quickly with bugs
Organic grains seem to always have bugs. I used multiple 50lb bags of grain from this company. The organic spelt was the worst but all organic grains they sold me were full of bugs. For a while I was picking the bugs out of the spelt when milling. Then there were too many bugs. You could hear them in the bag. I put the bag in the garage with the idea of using the grain as organic fertilizer but they grew wings, chewed through the bag, and flew everywhere in the garage. This whole experience was sort of horrible.I know it is nearly impossible to clean grains of insect eggs without spraying and I’ve talked with a guy who worked at a plant that cleans grain about this. They spray synthetic pyrethrins for the bugs. Organic grain can’t have that treatment. The size of the bug problem probably depends on where in the country the grain was grown. The advice if you make bread from organic grains would be to mill the whole bag when you get it and perhaps also to either bake, freeze, or cover the flour with inert gas once it is aged after milling. Otherwise I highly recommend non-organic grains for the home or small scale baker.
