Sake is essential for Japanese cuisine and this Sake is for this purpose. It is really a great value for the money! But I have to stress that this Sake is not for drinking!!

It's a cooking sake
As this is a cooking sake, I've not tried to drink it. It would probably a little unfair to comment on the taste so my review will be on value and ease of use.Given the large size, it is difficult to get spoonfull (common amount used in home cooking) out of a bottle. I've had to decant it into smaller bottle to use. Still, it's a good value for money and I'd buy it again

Does the job.
I’m no expert on Japanese cookery but we regularly cook salmon teriyaki and this does the job; no complaints and I’d get it again.
