Got this for my 70 year old mother so the squirrels would stop eating all the bird food she puts out. This woman who has never held a gun in her life was actually considering shooting them with a BB gun. It’s a real Road Runner/Wile E Coyote relationship they have. That’s how I knew things had gotten out of hand.She put this up by herself and it worked like gangbusters. The squirrel tried stepping on it once and got so freaked out he ran away and never tried again.PROS-Saved a squirrel from almost certain death at the hands of a normally pacifist senior citizen-Got son brownie pointsCONS-Expensive for what it is. You could probably make one easily if you were so inclined-No longer get to hear woman vs. squirrel anecdotes

To shield my tray feeder from the rain, I bought this item. It’s quite flimsy and the hook to attach the feeder is small. However, the biggest flaw is that, all around the hanging attachment, there are holes! This keeps the rain out how? Well, it doesn’t.Due to its flimsiness, I’m not sure it would make a good squirrel baffle, either. Squirrels love nothing better than chewing plastic.I will be returning it.

The squirrels climbed up under the baffle and were baffled. Now they go to the bottom of the pole, look up, and leave. Nothing else i tried worked on a crook-type feeder stand. Totally worth the extra work I had to do: a minor amount of surgery to get it around the crook and put a wad of duct tap under it to keep it from sliding down. I am totally satisfied and buying more.

It's not wide enough.They climb down the cord, lift it up and swing right down under it.

This is by far the best thing I’ve purchased to keep the squirrels off. The feeder is right out a window and we watched the squirrels try to figure it out, and they did at first. The length between the bottom of this device and the feeder had too much room so I shortened it! Presto!... that was all it took. After that adjustment we enjoyed watching the squirrels try to figure it out, but after about 2 weeks they gave up! No more squirrel problem!!It works, and you may have to make some minor adjustments to perfect it, but after 3 months of repelling them, I’m 100% satisfied!

Just received my cover and was attempting to assemble for a hanging feeder when I accidentally inserted the hook into the narrow end of the plastic tube, and the tube immediately cracked in 2 spots. I wasn’t forcing it as I “thought" the hook was supposed to slide into it ... DON’T ATTEMPT IT! Insert the hook through the larger end.It’s not worth returning so I’ll patch it with clear gorilla glue tape. Other than that, it should work nicely for my small feeder.

I didnt get this for squirrel problems, got it mostly to keep the rain off the feeder. It doesn't help much or at all for that purpose. Otherwise it is sturdy and easy to install.

The Squirrel Baffle does it job keeping the squirrels from climbing my pole and getting to the seed.The only thing that would be nice is if was made out of heavier plastic. It only lasts about a year as wind blows it around and it breaks.
