Jagged Little Pill by MORISSETTE,ALANIS

I adopted a boot-legged copy of this CD back in the 90's and lost it throughout my career moves. Alanis' songs have stuck with me every since. Her tone and melodies are very real, down-to-earth and easy to relate to if you've ever been in a relationship and are a working-class person. I didn't realize she wrote both the lyrics and music for each and every song on this CD. Now THAT'S INCREDIBLE!!! From my recollection, her use of the "f***" word in "You Oughta Know", along with the scenario this particular song addresses SHOOK the world!! (It's still one of my favorites!!) A DEFINITE MUST-HAVE for anyone's collection!!

This CD was hyped up by the media in time for Christmas so I bit. It's okay but just sounds like a depressed and somewhat naive young woman not looking to the future. Not terribly resolving audio quality.

Still one of the BEST albums made. Every song is timeless and original even today.

I've been hyped up for her 2588th anniversary tour this year, and couldn't believe I didn't already own my favorite album of hers! Excellent condition, always recommend her music.

Not the best album but it is nostalgic. Worth owning for anyone that was alive during the 90s.
