Yes but you will need to keep the rooms well ventilated. We use it for the prevention of carpet moth.

So does this only kill spiders already in the house, or if you spray around the house/windows/doors etc will it prevent them coming in??? thanks

It is a treatmnet you apply to kill them in house around wall/floor junctions and yes by applying around windows/door frames it will kill them on contact so provides a barrier. Hope that helps
