Highly recommended vitamin supplement, great success.
My 13-week-old English Staffordshire Bull Terrier fractured a growth plate in her knee. Since she was still able to use her knee, the surgeon gave the go ahead to forego surgery to see how healing went on its own. I immediately started Boneo. after finishing the first bottle, she seems to have made a full recovery without surgery. She went from a little bit of a wobbly gait to full throttle staffy puppy energy. There is no sign of injury. I've started her on her second bottle. I intend on keeping up with this regularly. The ingredients are clean. Liver is the first ingredient. The flavor is good enough. I just throw the tablets in her dog food and she eats them with no problem.Keep in mind, this is literally a vitamin supplement. Not a miracle tonic. Yes, it's chalky because it's a vitamin. Yes it has a vitamin smell and taste because it's a vitamin, not a treat. We had great results And I would highly recommend it, especially post-injury but also for long-term maintenance.

I thought it might be snake oil, but it works.
The media could not be loaded. I'm an M.D. and my giant breed broke a weight bearing toe. I was having a terrible time with her healing. Due to her broken toe pain and discomfort she lost 15 lbs within 4 days. The vet, took an xray and confirmed the diagnosis, and then splinted poorly on a 100lb giant breed puppy. Vet's splint broke, didn't last 8hrs; it was cheap plastic and broke. I changed the splint often (every 2-3 days), despite this she had sores. I then reduced the splint just past her wrist. I made a reinforced splint out of poster cardboard containers/mailers. I split down middle with EMT shears and put that over the soft casting, making sure to put cotton in between her toes to prevent moisture accumulation, and added dry medicated foot powder. Then covered with another layer of soft casting, then the flexible, stick to itself bandage. It worked better, but she still managed to have it slip or have it off entirely. Having her not eat properly, break on a weight bearing toe was difficult and of course the splint on this massive breed were issues, that is until I got desperate (I also purchase her a massager, as vibration was purported to help stimulate bone remodeling and walked her on leash, until she would just refuse to move (~ half a city block.) I added probiotics to help her eat. Still too much pain. I took off a week of work (I do love this dog) and hand fed her every 4 hours. Still not much improvement, then I found Boneo, after three days it was a quick turn around. She was eating, putting back on 15 lbs of weight in one week, she was walking on her half cast, the open sores healed, and she was even trying to run after squirrels and her old personality came out. She was even jumping, on her very sturdy splint that kept her foot from touches no the ground, this was the third week after she broke her toe. I have to say this supplement really turned her around. She ran up and down stairs and jumped on and off a 25" high bed.I've since had to add 1mg/per lb of body weight, 3 x per day of benadryl to calm her down. She is sleeping better and healed nicely. I was surprised, but desperate to get my $$$ show dog back to her old self. This was a wise investment. In one week, there was significant turn around!!!Fast forward 4/20/23, 6 years later, I had another Black Russian Terrier 100lbs break the right rear 3rd metatarsal. I still had all of my splinting materials from way back when, so I immediately ordered Boneo and it came the next day. I gave the dosage at rx strength. Did so well was walking on the splint. This was an elderly dog on Carprofen (NSAID) for age related arthritis, but due to risk of ulcers would get as needed,. Thus, for pain I gave with every meal (twice daily for pain) the 100mg carprofen, also gave melatonin to keep the dog calm and induce restful sleep essential to healing, I also fed raw chicken wings 1-2 every meal and those minerals and boneo, were so very impressive. Expecting 12 weeks full recover and we are on week 6, I could not be more impressed with this OTC product. Dog was running on the splint/brace after 9 days.

As far as I can tell, this stuff works wonders.
I adopted a senior Chihuahua three years, nine months ago. (I adopted two on the same day.) At the time, shelter staff had him listed as 7 years of age, so conservatively he is 11 now. He has luxating patella in all four limbs. When we took him in for an exam, the veterinarian said he was going to have to have surgery at some point to correct it because he would suffer pain. My friend and I came across this product at the pet expo (or the Fair, somewhere) two years or so later. I was reluctant to buy it because it is considerably more expensive than glucosamine and chondroitin. But I did buy a bottle and started using it. I've been giving Monkey one pill a day ever since, and he continues to run, play, and be naughty. I have no way of knowing if it is Boneo or chance that is keeping him pain-free. He has suffered isolated incidents of pain, but they are extremely rare, and I believe in this product and will continue to give it to him. He loves the taste, too, and eats the pill like a treat. He stops what he's doing when he hears me shake the bottle. I assume Monkey's joint health would be on borrowed time if I were to quit providing him his daily Boneo.

Major help in healing after broken bones
Our dog broke his 3rd and 4th metacarpals in a front foot. They are the weight bearing bones in the foot, so a severe injury. Surgery wasn't recommended because really high risk of infection. He had been in a hard splint to immobilize the foot for 3 months, one bone aligning and healing, the other making extremely slow progress to callous and reconnect. Thousands of dollars in vet bills and lots of frustration, I found Boneo and gave it a shot. This is the maintenence dose, it's half the prescription dose, so I dosed at the prescription level. After a month on Boneo, x-rays were the best they had been with significant bone growth and contact. The 2 weeks later, fused bone and hard splint off to a soft splint. I really wish I would have known about Boneo when this started, but thankful that 4 months later the hard splint is off. Will be using this as maintenence as he builds back range of motion and strength. He doesn't like the tablets, so I just grind them and hide them in soft dog food. He was making no progress on one bone and 6 weeks later it's fused. The progress we saw in such a short amount of time after none at all convinces me this works.

Bad supplier, good product
Love this product BUT the supplier has expired stuff that was delivered to me. The pills were discolored. I tried to return them immediately but I never received a response back from them. Now I cant trust buying it here on Amazon. I buy it directly from the company but it’s a little more. At least I know if something is wrong I’ll get a replacement!
