Great investment for discerning (but not necessarily extreme) skiers.
I live and ski in Utah about 15-20 days each winter. I'm not an expert who goes to extreme places or temps, but I'm at high altitude resorts once or twice each weekend. These gloves have been great and feel like the last I'll need for a very long time. They keep my hands plenty warm on 6 hour days in the ~20 degree F range. The lining is really soft and feels high quality. The mitten part still has separate finger slots, but I don't think that detracts from the warmth. So far (and to be fair Utah is very dry) my hands have never gotten wet/damp/cold with these leather and goretex gloves. The fit and finish is pretty good on these gloves. The leather on the palm is slightly different between the two, but it's fine. The stitching is good, I like the elastic drawstring around the cuff to keep snow out, and even better they have a carbine to keep them together when not in use. Comes with some leather balm which darkens the white leather a bit, but keeps it healthy and waterproof. These were a great upgrade from a pair of Outdoor Research gloves I had the last two seasons. They're bit of an investment, but I see myself using these for 5+ years and I'm already thanking myself for upgrading, since they will keep me warm in 99.9% of normal use scenarios.

The Secret Strap Closes the Deal!
Ok I have spent a fortune for these gloves and would have gladly spent more after wearing them. Of course being Hestra they have great construction and materials and they are warm and look great but one thing Hestra never mentions is one of the best parts of these gloves. They have a pair of what Hestra call "handcuffs" in them. Its a small very comfortable elastic strap that goes around your wrist and connects to the mitten. This thing is AMAZING. I pull my gloves off and just let them "hang". Its so comfortable and makes these mits comfortable and impossible to drop or lose. I'll never own another pair of gloves that don't have this feature. As far as comfort and warmth all I can say is I almost never get to wear them long as either my son, wife or niece begs to wear them because their hands are cold and my gloves are so warm...

My ski gloves - super durable and warm
I have used these for 1 season so far. These are the best gloves I've ever had. This was my first time using the claw type glove. I like the added dexterity you get with the glove, but the warmth of the mitten. My hands have never been cold, this season I've skied in windy 0 degree days. My face froze but my hands stayed warm. Also super durable. I've gone through several gloves that just wear out after a few times being used. These after one season of about 25 sessions, no signs of issues yet.

Hestra Waterproof Ski gloves
Very well made gloves about the best that's out there. But I did very cold fingers temp around 15 degrees Fahrenheit.

Worth the Money
I always have cold hands and they quickly get cold while skiing in every pair of gloves I have tried before these. They have great grip, keep my hands warm and just enough mobility to tighten and loosen my boots without getting the fabric stuck under the buckles, which happens with normal mittens. Really the only thing that could make these better is if the leather wasn’t white as it will get dingy looking over time, but honestly if my hands are warm I don’t care how they look.

Good for cold powder days
These are good cold weather gloves. I was a little surprised that the liner was like a glove and not the claw style like the external portion of the glove but they are still solid. Good for cold powder days. Seals nice to jacket. really nice leashes to keep them from dropping off lift

Good cold weather gloves
This is my second set of gloves from Hestra. They’ve always been great for extreme cold weather.

You get what you pay for
Ok yes, these are quite expensive mittens but you are truly getting what you pay for. These are extremely well made tri mittens and they fit as expected per their size chart. They are extremely warm and comfortable. They even came with a small tester of leather conditioner. I would highly recommend these to anyone who spends a good deal of time outdoors in the cold or is sick of having cold hands while shoveling.

Geiler Handschuh

For the price had higher expectations
These gloves are only good to about -10C max. Beyond that your hands will get cold. I was expecting much better performance for the high price, but was disappointed. That said, they are well constructed (leather is thick, and well stitched together) and they look like they will last a long time. The cuffs that you put around your wrists are an added bonus. For colder temps have a look at the Black Diamond Mercury Mitts - excellent.

Great great product
Fantastic product based on the proven layering concept. Be warned though, thicker inner gloves will probably need larger outer gloves. I liked mine so much I bought merino inners and a 9, and fleece inners and a 10

Super warm!!
