I got it to do some touring and had some recorded guided tours on the phone I could listen to as the phone hung from my neck. So far so good except the slot to put the earphone jack through is so narrow that I had to take the phone out of the case to use my ear phones. I am sure some jacks fit thru the slot but pay attention to this. Also the exterior case is somewhat fragile and after removing the phone from it several times to use the earphones it broke! This way she can have it with her wherever she goes. I was worried that it wouldn't be sturdy and the phone would fall off, but the latch is very secure. Easy to get off the lanyard when needed, but very secure when in place.
