I have been looking for a replacement battery for my DeWalt drill. I am glad I found this one and I am planning on buying another so I will have 2.The two batteries that I have are dead and will not recharge anymore so I have been looking for replacements.Not only at a good price but I received them sooner than I had expected.As soon as the replacement arrived I started using it in the drill.Good and fast. I did not write a review originally because I wanted to give it time! Well here I am today - July 5, 2019 - a year and a half later. I ordered this battery in December of 2017 - charged the battery when it arrived! I have NOT charged it since that first initial charge. Granted - I don't use it a lot - but - my last Dewalt battery drained itself without me using it at all. This one (after just using it a few minutes ago) still runs fantastic and needs no charge yet. Would I recommend it for others to purchase? Absolutely hands down!!!

It fits, it works. The old one - same make - wasn't holding a charge as long as it did when it was new - several years ago - so it's great to have a fresh battery - and good to have two again, so I can swap out instead of waiting for a single one to charge.

My old DeWalt 9.6 cordless with 2 dead batteries that wouldn't charge was headed for garbage can ('cause my wife thinks I am a hoarder and was trying to prove her wrong) when I thought I'd try this battery. What the heck, cheaper than new, right?New battery arrives, charges in 1 hour just as advertised and voila, and fires up the old DeWalt like it was new..., but wait, there's more.Thought I'd try the 2 old dead batteries in the charger after charging the PWR pack. You know, just to make sure I wasn't throwing away good batteries when amazingly, the old batteries decided to take a charge. Weird, right, but the damn batteries both charged after being dead and buried in the depths of my basement for 8 plus years.The PWR battery must have awoken the battery gods and willed my old batteries to come back to life just like Lazarus. I am not saying PWR makes Jesus batteries, but the 2 weeks worth of use has proven to me that this was a great buy and I will definitely buy PWR batteries again when the old DeWalt packs finally decide to take their forever naps.

Battery fits well and brought my old Dewalt drill back to life. Only concern is with the seal/sticker on the box. Mine was only partially held on, raising some concern that it may have been a previous return or possibly tampered with. Interior bag was sealed and the battery looked OK. I'll try it out and see how it goes.

To fully review this product I would have to wait till the battery went through it's full life cycle. Short of that, I can say that I've had it in the charger with sporadic use for about 3 months. The battery works well, holds a charge and provides enough current that the drill has the torque I expect. The disclaimer here is that I am not a power user. I do not use this a few times a month and usually not on heavy duty work.

I ordered this battery on September 4, 2017, and it is all ready bad. I use it just for general home repair type projects, and it was working find for a couple of months, but now it is no longer working for more than about two minutes after a full charge. I don’t know if the battery I received was faulty, or if this is a reflection on the quality of the battery itself.

The battery shipped as promised arrived well packaged. The battery had a charge and could be used in needed. I put it in my charger and it took the charge without any problems so it is compatable with my currently battery charger. After it was charged it worked better then my previous battery; since the old battery has been used quite a few years and was probably getting worn out could not holding a charge as well. This new battery kept the charge and actually since it was a higher capacity battery my drill had a little more power due to this new battery. I would recommend it as a good replacement battery for the DeWalt DW952. The price was reasonable and a cheaper to replace the battery then to purchase a whole new drill and battery.
