Linda's Kitchen: Simple and Inspiring Recipes for Meatless Meals

Years ago, I stumbled upon this book in the library. I read it cover-to-cover. After that, I went on a quest to learn as much about the nutritional and cooking aspects of being a Vegetarian. I did end up becoming a Vegetarian, and I feel I owe it to this book. I bought a copy on here, and it has a permanent place on my shelf. Are there better Veg*n cookbooks out there? Yes. But I would still recommend "Linda's Kitchen" to anyone interested in Veg-friendly cooking.

So happy I found a copy of Linda’s Kitchen on Amazon! The book is beautiful and well thought out. The pictures are great! So many recipes that are easy to follow. I’ve always had such respect for Linda McCartney, and I’m thrilled to own one of her cookbooks.

Linda McCartney, 1st wife of Beatles Paul McCartney, was a well-known vegetarian and her book provides some marvelous recipes, to help those who are vegetarian or want to be, to learn how to make delicious and healthful foods!

This was a gift for a friend that is vegetarian and she LOVES it!! I'm not vegetarian, but I still have loved this book for many years that I've had it since we love vegetable dishes and Linda's recipes are Divine and Delicious!! She was one-of-a-kind!!

Got lots of good ideas thumbing through this cookbook. I did find many recipes called for things that aren't really available in the Midwest. But the ideas springboard to something else, so it seems worth it. The cover was a bit dinged up when I got it, but not enough to really worry about. Purely cosmetic.

Linda McCartney's vegetarian recipes are awesome! The book is laid out well and easy to follow.

This has many elegant recipes that would be welcome at any party or formal dinner. The Melting Eggplants are so good! There are also menu planners with ideas for the seasons or special occasions. The directions are unassuming and easy to follow.

This cookbook has stood the test of time. My children were weaned on the simple pasta meals (I have added chicken or prawns and additional vegetables to suit different needs) and am still using them today. I have served the dips and sauces along with cocktail nibbles at drinks parties; the ever adaptable Toad in the Hole and Tuscan bean soup to hungry lads; I have got difficult teenagers to join in with cooking enchiladas and found inspiration over the years in only the most basic cupboard essentials. I bought this reprinted copy for my delighted 26 year old son and it arrived promptly in pristine condition!

I bought this book in the 90s and thought my friend would enjoy it for her birthday.

These recipes have always been good but are perhaps a little bit dated now but still worth having.
