Belgian Saison - Look at the Head Retention!
I made the Belgian Saison exactly as recommended by Brewer's Best recommended procedures and the beer came out perfect! I topped off the wort with water just below the 5 gallon mark so I ended up with 1.052 O.G. After fermentation was complete I had 5.75% alc prior to bottling, but after bottle conditioning, it may have been slightly higher. I tried the first bottle after 2 weeks of bottle conditioning and found that it needed some extra time, but after 4 weeks the carbonation was perfect. Plus, it continued to improve over the next 2 months!

Awesome!
Awesome recipe. I finished this one off with some chamomile flowers in the secondary for a couple hours emulating the St. Louis Perrenial Artisan Ales Saison de Lis (they make some great beers). Nice citrus hint up front along with a bit of pepper and a nice dry finish. This is my second batch and has only been in the bottle for a week. I'm expecting even better things as time goes by.

Delicious and balanced
This is easily one of the best batches I've brewed. It's a flavorful, yet balanced and drinkable. Notes of fruitiness, with a ever so slight hop backbone, all driven by a subtle yet well called for sweetness. On top of it all, came out to be a respectable 6.5%. Absolutely recommend giving this a go.

This beer turned out great. I took a sample of this Belgian to my local growler shop where the owner is a Cicerone. He tried it and said I nailed it! Great taste and very true to form for this type of beer.

Made this one about a month ago and couldn't be happier. It's my third or fourth Brewer's Best kit and this one turned out the nicest. Definitely recommend following the secondary fermentation procedures in the directions for increased clarity. Could do with some herbal additions to make the flavor a bit more interesting, but that's up to you!

Missing Ingredient
Missing a hops packet. No seal on kit box. Had to buy another, when it arrives I'll brew it up.
