Rhino Glue Gel, Heavy Duty 40 Gram Clear

Extremely durable. It is working where others have failed. Like holding the plastic door trim on the lower third of my Honda Pilot. Or....holding the loose heat shield up underneath my Pilot for several months. And it really works nicely closing the painful cracks in the skin of my fingertips that develop during the never ending Minnesota winter.

This is the best glue I have ever tried and I have tried many. It has never failed to repair anything I have tried it on. Way better than normal super glues. It takes 20 to 30 seconds to set fully. It is very strong and seems to adhere to most any kind of material.

This glue works great for many applications and the slow drip gel is convenient and manageable compared to other similar brands. However, the main reason I purchased it was to temporarily repair some vinyl siding that was warped by sun reflecting off a neighbor's window. The warping caused openings on the ends, potentially allowing for water and moisture to get behind it. After applying the glue, I pressed it shut with tape, creating a solid seal and time to dry. Unfortunately the glue was not effective in sticking the two pieces of siding together.

My car mirror got moisture inside it and ruined the silvering. Used this product to attach glass to glass. No mixing required. It stayed in place during application, didn't run, and set up in the length of time stated, though I taped it on with painters tape overnight. Vibration and hitting bumps and it stayed on for 100 miles so far. I also used it on a belt that was several layers bonded together. If you tap the bottle and wipe the nozzle after use, it will not stick closed when you try to reopen it. This avoids waste. This is now my go-to glue. I will never buy dollar store super glue again as long as this is available. Well worth the extra cost because IT WORKS.

The thing is some woods produce an oil, or sap, that makes them difficult to attach to anything with adhesives - and a few even produce saps that specifically break down most epoxies - even my preferred high carbon fiber epoxies. On those particular woods your best bet is some form of super gel type product. I have tried quite a few different types before I came across Rhino and I have to say this is the most effective adhesive gel I have encountered. Smooth application. Just enough time to work a bit before it starts to set. Good curing time. Smooth cure and Very, Very Powerful Bond. It is going to be my go to now - so be it skinning hogs, bears or gators....or self defense or survival use - I can be happy with the idea that my products will go out with the absolute best stress tolerances I can hope to provide. Great Product. Highly recommended, even at industrial level.

The original use for this glue was to re-install a rear window on my Mustang convertible. So far it seems to be holding its own. I have found other uses for this item where you would usually use super glue with good success. Be careful, it sets quick and once it does, it's all over for adjustment.
