A Treasure Found!
I've been listening to, and been involved with Gospel Rock since the early 70's. These seven albums were among my favorites. I own a large collection of this genre on CD, but six of the albums in this series were missing. I was never able to find them anywhere, as it appeared that their label, "Maranatha Music", had never released them on CD. Recently, I "accidentally", ran across this set on Amazon. To say the least, I was thrilled. Three days later the hole in my CD library was filled. The albums consist of:"The Everlasting Living Jesus Music Concert" (Maranatha 1), which has been available separately."Maranatha 2""Maranatha 3: Rejoice in The Lord""Maranatha 4""Maranatha 5""Maranatha 6: A Family Portrait""Maranatha 7"Among the artists and performers that participate on these albums are, Oden Fong, Leon Patillo, Richie Furay, Bob Cull, Karen Lafferty, Debbie Kerner, "Love Song", "Gentle Faith", "Children of the Day", "The Way", and "Mustard Seed Faith". These, and the many more were pioneers in the world of Christian Rock Music. "Maranatha Music", was one of the pioneering labels. Each album comes in a small cardboard case that is a miniature replica of the original LP version. The audio quality is excellent. While some of the songs that appear on these albums are among the classics of Christian Rock, I will admit that there are some that are not that great. However, for someone like me, who is a huge fan of Gospel Rock, they are golden. These albums are a piece of history that I'm extremely happy to now own.

Calvary Chapel at Its Best!
Calvary Chapel had many great groups and artists during the 70's that pioneered the sound that we now call Contemporary Christian Music. The beginning of the Maranatha! Music label back in 1971 was the foundation for a new era and brought in many great artists and groups such as Love Song, The Way, Gentle Faith, Mustard Seed of Faith, Children of The Day, Parable, Daniel Amos Band, Sweet Comfort Band, Country Faith and many more. The first album is called "The Everlastin' Living Jesus Music Concert (HS-777/1). The album cover has a red dove symbol in the center which has become the trade mark and symbol for not only Maranatha! Music, but also Calvary Chapel. This box contains volumes 1-7 of the original Maranatha! compilations released in the 1970's. This is separate from the famous Praise series that started in 1974 with "The Praise Album" and should not be confused with those recordings. I have enjoyed listening to every single one of these CD's and recommend this box set to anyone who is a serious collector of vintage Contemporary Christian Music. Also I recommend getting the Praise series as well.

Bought these as Gift for Wife
They turned out to be the first 7 lp's Maranatha released in the 70's on cd. Been looking for them individually and didn't realize that was what they were. If you loved the Maranatha Album releases you need these in your collection.

It's good, but my interests in music sure have changed since then. It's just too rocky for me now.
I got saved in 1971 at 15 years old. My sister took me to several gospel meetings. It was easy to quit drugsMy life was finally going a new way. I'm helping in a ministry today. I like Don Moen worship music now on Pandora. But it was good to see how much I've changed since back then too. Thank You, Amazon for shipping so fast.

Old favorites, new format
I was so thrilled to find this available in a CD set! My LP of Maranatha 3 was one of my favorites from the 70s and of course it doesn't play in my CD player. Plus I never had the chance to hear the other Maranatha albums Word released. Of course these were mostly promos of their artists, but the result was an enjoyable sampling of "Jesus rock" performers.

I liked everything about this box set by Maranatha
I liked everything about this box set by Maranatha. All seven CDs were packed nicely in a gift-set box. The recordings are first class, and the music is just as wonderful as it was back in the 70s. Maybe in the future I'll purchase this product again as a gift for a friend.

Great Memories!
Thank you reissuing these historical albums. They bring back memories my younger days. I was finding myself as a Christian and person when they were released. The music is from 1970 - 1980. The packaging is fantastic too. They are a great representation of early Jesus Music. I thought the were out of print. What a joy to find them again!
