Petface Toyz Rugby Ball Dog Toy, Large, Green

I bought one of these over a year ago at a vets practice. My springer spaniel loves it. It is too big for him to chew with any ferociosity but small enough that he can catch it and fetch it in his mouth. There is a seam at one end that after several months came apart a little due to wear and tear so the squeak stopped. A little super glue fixed this easily and it has gone on as before. The rugby ball shape leads to unpredictable bounces which make playtime even more fun. I hadn't seen another one in any shops or vets since I got it so when I saw this on Amazon I decided to get another one to keep in reserve until his current one finally gives up, as I'm sure it will eventually, as its my dog's favourite by far.

My Stafford loves this toy. It's not tough enough to leave her alone with it, but a play session of throw and fetch leaves it intact. So far the squeak still works and this keeps her motivated (unlike other products I've tried where the squeak fails after a couple of throws). The shape causes it to bounce randomly when thrown which makes it more fun for the dog to chase. My only gripe is that I wish I could get a slightly smaller one as this one is a bit too big to hold on to when I use it for clicker training and I would like one I could fit in my pocket.

I bought this ball because I wanted a slightly different type of ball for my golden retriever puppy to play with. All of her other toys bounce in a fairly predictable way, and I have always enjoyed throwing rugby balls or american footballs.The ball came in simple packaging and was ready to be played with very quickly. After a couple of months it is still in good condition, despite many hours of being used as a chew toy.

Although this ball is thick and sturdy my beagle staffy cross destroyed it within 5weeks but she still loves it.Think it was a little too large for her, she always carried it at the soft narrow end and it weakened quickly so snapping off.

Petface dog toys had previously become my go-to for quality and durability, especially with a dog that tries to methodically dismantle any toy he’s given. However, said dog didn’t have to do anything before this product split at the seam after a couple of days of light use. This means the seal on the ball is broken and thus squeaker doesn’t work now - toy is redundant. Not impressed by a brand I previously trusted for quality

Have always used petface round blue 11cm ball which squeaks and lasts ages ! But this rugby type only squeaked for 2 minutes before breaking and our dog lost interested !!

My wife’s English bull terrier pup loves this ball . She plays with it for hours making it squeak and playing catch . I’m surprised it’s lasted this long lol . Mia’s very happy with her ball .

This is Dylan’s favourite toy/ball.... and for a big Lab who’s pleasure in life is to chew everything to within half an inch of its life, this ball takes it all and stands head and shoulders above all others... yes! at last a ball that remains in tact and best of all keeps us and him entertained as you never know which way it’ll bounce when thrown.... winner!
