The new batch was too hot even for Sri Lankans
I am a Sri Lankan. We have been using Wijaya for many years. The new batch was completely disappointing. Someone has decided to add too much pepper. Also it is too hot for even Sri Lankans. I guess the type of red chilies used has been changed as well.

Adds delicious flavor to soups, stews and curries.. a bit spicy too, so if you're not into spicy fare, use sparingly, add in gradually, taste and adjust as you go... enjoy..
