I bought this for our 16 year old daschund. He is blind and deaf and we don’t cage him. He likes to get up and roam and this gives him plenty of room. I also love that you can make it as small or as large as you want it. We left it open.. I couldn’t figure out how to close it all the way anyway and there weren't any real instructions that came with it- overall I would definitely purchase again as it has been a lifesaver for us! We also use it at top of our steps as a guard against him falling there. As far as using for babies I have two grandsons under 3.. I personally don’t think it’s sturdy enough to contain children.

It’s nice to find a wooden play yard for a good price but that just means you get what you paid for. It’s not very well crafted but it does the job. It’s hard to fold up but I’ll deal with that. It’s extremely hard to open the gate which is good for babies but not parents. I am worried my baby will bring it down when she gets a little bigger because it’s not incredibly sturdy. Overall it’s a good buy for the price but If you’re looking for a high quality item than this isn’t for you.

It has the ability for multiple configurations and works great and is very lightweight and easy to move.

It is so light that it makes it not sturdy, my two cats have no issue of moving it on the aluminum floor. Thanks god husband know how to fix that issue. Though I love everything else about it.
