Great value
I used these on a Squire '72 thinline reissue telecaster because Fender's stamped saddles suck. I really wanted roller saddles, but I'm cheap, so here I am. I wanted new saddles because the screw heads on the stamped saddles stuck up so much, I'd hit my strumming hand and figured I'd end up bleeding if I didn't do something. They are advertised as stainless steel, but they are not polished up like stainless can be. They have more of a dull color (this isn't a bad thing, but I somehow expected them to look like the chrome saddles they were replacing). The intonation springs around the screws are different than Fender's were. These are the same diameter (think of a clicky ink pen spring. The Fender springs got wider, so that you can compress the Fender spring more if needed, whereas these springs only compress so far. This hasn't been an issue, nor do I see it becoming one.The screws are recessed into the saddle block, so I don't have screw heads in the way of my strumming hand.Note that when changing saddles, you can mess up the setup / action of the guitar. What I did to keep from having to set it up again, was take off one saddle, adjust the height of the new saddle to match the height of w the string rides. Rinse and repeat 5 more times. The saddles are different heights, so remove one, set height and install, then move to the next saddle. I also set the intonation screw as close to the location of the old one (you want the last point where the string is touched to be the same, not length from back of saddle to bridge).Overall, they were a great value.Be careful as they come in multiple widths. Make sure you get the ones that are the same width.

Good value. Works on Squier strats
Direct replacement for my Squier (made in Indonesia)Original Squier saddles were rough (the old Squier saddles are shown in a photo) and my high E string was breaking at the saddle after very little play time. These Dopro appear to be much smoother and the groove insures the string won't slide around on the saddle when I bend notes. Very happy. Sharing because the other reviews/photos posted gave me confidence to buy these for my guitar.Make sure you have a good tuner in order to set the intonation. Measure carefully. I bought the 10.5 and you can see they fit perfectly.I've seen higher quality saddles on American made fenders but at this price I'm VERY pleased.

Squier Bullet Mustang Sounds Better
I put these on my Bullet Mustang after reading about them on the Squier Talk forum. The 10.5 Is an exact replacement except these are chunkier than the stock saddles and have a dull finish.Just as with the stock saddles you need to shorten the intonation screws for the low E and A strings but if you have already done this or your guitar actually came with proper length screws you can swap; they are the same metric-gauge screws. The biggest difference these saddles made on my guitar is that the attack is less harsh; the guitar no longer sounds like a harpsichord in coil split mode with the tone turned all the way up. (Coil split is a mod, not stock).Another slight difference is a bit more sustain on the high E string although sustain might be a bit misleading; the top note of a chord can be heard over the chord for maybe a half note instead of three eighth notes might be more descriptive. All of the strings seem to have more harmonics; this is more evident when the guitar is unplugged - the low E and A strings are heard a little more.A likely reason for the difference in sound is that these saddles maintain their full thickness where the stock saddles are cut away in the middle and therefore not as stiff so less likely to resonate and more likely to return and reflect energy to the strings. It’s a subtle difference; this is still a 150-dollar guitar lol.

Great upgrade, just wish they came in a chrome finish
These are a great upgrade to block saddles without having to replace the whole bridge. Idk why there aren’t more saddle replacements out there. Most come with the bridge so it’s either a waste of money not using the bridge or it becomes a project deciding to replace the whole thing. These require very little work and skill to install and and it’s an easy way to improve your tone and sustain. Aside from the sustain improvement block saddles offer, the other benefit you gain (over the bent steel saddles) is the string has a slot to rest in. With the bent saddles, the strings move up or down over time, throwing off your string spacing. This was the main reason I decided to upgrade to these and they solved that issue. The only thing I wish was an option was a chromed or nickel finish. The unfinished steel doesn’t look bad but a chromed finish would match the rest of the hardware on my guitar

Looked great but.....
The quality of these, especially for the price, is pretty good BUT one of the saddle screw holes was drilled at a bit of an angle so the saddle sits at an angle and is unusable. It's hard to see in the photo, but you definitely can, that the saddle screw on the saddle second from the left is coming in at an angle. probably about a 85 or so degree angle and those extra 5 degrees make a world of difference. Amazon sent a replacement so we will see how set number two comes out.....

10.5 for classic vibe strat
Nothing has helped the tone of my guitar like these saddles!I put on new Eric Johnson pickups, new fender standard tremolo, new bone nut, leveled and dressed the frets, twice!, Worked on the neck-body connection, Put on new locking tuners and still my two high strings seemed to be "deadened".I was about to give up and then I clued in to the saddles probably being the source of the problem. It made such a difference and at that price 5 stars.I probably will replace these with a similar style but the fifty dollar ones just to see if there's even more of a difference but for now, I finally have a guitar that sounds really good!

Good product ... when parts are not defective
I ordered one set of these saddles which worked perfectly ... but when I ordered a second set, the screws were defective and unusable ... I could not return the item, nor gat the parts replaced ... This product may or may not work for you ... If you're lucky, you may get all working parts

Perfect fit for MIM Strat
No-brainer upgrade for your MIM Strat. Perfect fit and now each string has its own "track" so to speak. Keeps in tune far better than the stock bent steel saddles where the string was free to slide up and down. Much smoother and more consistent string action both with use and non-use of tremolo arm.

Economical with Good Tone
I replaced my brass saddles with this stainless steel saddles because they seem to oxidize faster leaving some black residues. These saddles gave a slight brightness to my dark sounding pickups. These are great!
