This might be better constructed than some of my furniture. Well made and easy to assemble.

It is Well built. If your dog is less than a hundred pounds and smaller than a large German Shepherd it will probably work okay. My dog is a large GSD and he often will spill over the sides of his bed. Once the foam dog bed is inserted into this the edges of the wood frame can be felt. I think this is why he will not use it. Otherwise I was really ready to like the fact that my Robot vacuum can get underneath it. As it is since the dog won't use it I have it in storage in case the next one is a smaller size. Of note the edges of this are 90°. They are not rounded off

I think more slats should be included for the price of this bed. I shouldn’t have to spend additional money to create a stable sleeping surface for my dog. This may not be an issue for small/lightweight dogs, but definitely for large to medium breeds. Having said that, since I’ve added the extra slats my dog seems pretty comfortable in her bed.I like that she’s elevated off the floor, my roomba can easily fit underneath, the frame itself seems sturdy-ish, but watch out for those corners, they hurt!

So let me first off say that a Roomba S9+ fits under this bed and that’s what I really bought it for so that the floor under the bed could stay clean. Eliminating me having to move the dogs bed around to get the floor clean daily.The size I bought was large, fits my 50 pound dog very well, loves putting her chin up on the elevated side of the bed.However I have a few issues with this bed, first off it’s very squeaky, kinda like a bunk bed made of wood if that makes sense? Any time my dog (50 pound hound dog) wakes up to adjust her sleeping position at night it wakes me up because of the squeaking and commotion. Kind of annoying when you pay over $100 for a dog bed frame…Additionally she adjusts her sleeping position ALOT during the night, so the slat design might not be the best design for the comfort of your doggo. I solved this by measuring the bed frame and cutting a piece of 1/2 plywood to lay on top of the bed slats. (See my picture I added with the “fix”)This fixed the squeaky bed issues, it’s virtually silent, and additionally I believe my doggo is more comfy as she doesn’t adjust at all at night after installing the plywood. All in all a good bed, well build, I appreciate the anti skid pads on the legs and other than the squeaky noise it’s very well built. I will probably buy another one for my other dogs!

The bed frame is a little rickety for the price, but still is nice and has a decent weight to it.The reason for my 3 is because the bed was missing 4 screws for the slats. I used my own screws, but the fact they give no extra hardware is crazy. Otherwise I would have given it a 4.

I have an Aussie and an Aussie/Lab mix who both like these beds. I purchased the large size and they fit perfect. Got the cooling mattress for the Aussie who always runs hot and the orthopedic mattress (which feels like egg crate foam) for the lab mix. I got rid of the worn out chair they used to sleep on, so I had to give them something else. I think they like that these beds are elevated off the floor and they have 3 sides to curl up to or lean on. Also, the material is similar to the microfiber chair I got rid of. My husband put them together easily and the covers are removable for washing.

NEW UPDATE 5/25/23: Purchased 1 in Dec 2022, size Jumbo. Then purchased from the same manufacturer in May 2023 size “Jumbo.” However, as shown in the pictures, they’re completely 2 different sizes w/ the larger bed being the one which was purchased 1st! But since my female is the smaller Corso I was able to simply switch them so that my male could have the larger bed.Bought this for my male Corso who is 143lbs at 2yrs old. He’s collapsed 4 metal framed K9 beds in the last 11 months.I figured wood may prove to be a sturdier material. It’s fashionable & accents the decor of my living room well. Pretty similar to assembling a bed for humans. Just need to purchase an orthopedic bed and it should be good to go. I did see a prior review that suggested adding a piece of plywood atop the slats which I will do to add some support for the weight bearing on the slats. Otherwise a great buy! Just read the item description for measurements.

It would be nice if Amazon and Furhaven got together and had this dog bed sold together. The foam and frame. The ad is very deceving as the ad for the frame shows the foam on it but you need to scroll to notice that. The frame is about or close to the cost of the foam bed. This complete bed..the frame and foam pad cost four times as much as I wanted to spend. After sending away for four other elevated dog beds and then returning them as the floor is where Millie wanted to be. This bed is a must. It's easy to out together and there are a lot of choices to choose from when ordering the foam bed.It would be nice if you'd get a discount for ordering both the frame and foam bed from that company as the frame can fit other foam beds that aren't so much. But this is the best and so worth the money.

My 2 babies love their new bed, jumbo size fits my 2 Basset hounds perfectly! Large would have been to small for 2, but maybe big enough for 1.
