Tiptree Tawny Orange Marmalade, 12 oz Jar (Pack of 1)

I write for two reasons: This package from Madison Heights facility in VA was a possible farewell to Amazon Prime after 3 years & hundreds of deliveries. After receiving an atrocious plastic envelope yesterday of damaged items and an opened box of crackers, today I received a beautifully packed box showing what can be done when skill & care is used. See Video below! 😃Secondly, Tiptree's Tawny Orange is made from sour Seville type oranges w/a flavor that is unmatched 🌟 Fantastic on chicken w/broccoli & carrots! It means a lot when companies take pride in their products, as well as their packaging 😉

If you like traditional British bittersweet marmalade, you'll love this! Almost all modern marmalade are too sweet for me -- basically, orange jam instead of marmalade. In contrast, Tiptree Tawny is true marmalade, with the taste of tarr Valencia oranges and bits of softened peel. Love it!

I have bought many of these jars of marmalade. Very English - great fruity taste. Impressive.

Not quite sour enough for my taste. But very good.

Great flavor

if you like English marmalade, you will like this slightly thicker, stronger version. I can't eat it all the time, but for those mornings that I can, I enjoy it. I find that in general, the regular marmalade is more palatable.

The 5 stars are for the marmalade itself. Tiptree products, in my experience, are always outstanding. Unfortunately this was a package of six jars. Even though everything seemed well-packed, three of the jars were smashed to smithereens. The other three were in perfect condition once I rinsed them off. (There was marmalade and broken glass everywhere.) Amazon Customer Service (difficult to reach) made good on this once I was able to reach a live agent. I don’t know how this went wrong, because the packaging didn’t appear to be damaged, but half the contents had to be thrown away.

Per chi come me conosce il marchio sarpà di certo che si traduce in una garanzia di qualità. Ciononostante, non parliamo di una "bitter oranges" (quelle veramente amare) ma ha nel retrogusto delle forti note agrumate e di leggero amaro. Straconsiglio per qualità ed autenticità!

Calidad razonable a precio excesivo

Our family has been eating Tiptree Tawny marmalade for many years. It is a robustly orange-flavoured marmalade made with plenty of oranges in proportion to the sugar content. We find it delicious and no other brand is better although I've occasionally had delicious made at home marmalade. Toast with butter (not margarine) and Tiptree Tawny marmalade is a dish to be cherished and savoured. Try it.
