There are many travel adapters on the market, but I will tell you why I picked this one. Most similar models tend to max out at 3.2A total between the 4 USB ports. This model maxes out at 4.5A. That means if you plug in 4 devices at once, depending on the power requirements for each device, you're more likely to charge them faster with more juice using this adapter. I wanted to give myself the best opportunity to charge my devices as quickly as possible, and with this adapter I can.So far I have not traveled with it, so I can't say how it performs internationally, but I tested it out in my home with the US plug and one of the USB ports, and it worked just fine charging my phone. I like how easy it is to switch the prongs for different countries by simply pressing a button and sliding the appropriate lever.The only drawback if you plan to use this in the US as a hub for your many USB cords is that the prongs for the US are in the center of the device, and you wouldn't really be able to plus more than this adapter into the wall at one time (it would essentially cover part of the second outlet). That may not be a big deal, especially if you are buying this as I did solely for international travel as an adapter and not simply for home use and as a USB hub.I'm very happy with the product so far and I look forward to using it in September on my next international trip!

Have technically not used it travelling , hence the 3 stars, just in USA. It is compact, lightweight, easy to use and, has not felt hot at all even with an iPod, iPad, iPhone and extension cord plugged into it! Note: plugs into wall and then you can plug in a lamp into it so not lose and outlet as a result. It’s bulkier than another impulse product I was looking at but am very happy with this purchase!Updated the rating to 4 stars, as I have used it the past year in Europe. Works great, packs well and easy to use and it nice to have 4 ports and a built in plug outlet so as to not use up one wall plug for just the charging of devices and still be able to plug in the lamp.

This adapter will be replacing all my others that I had purchased in the past. I so wished I had found this prior to my other trips to Europe. The multiple USB charging ports are indispensable. We would always have to carry with us two adapters on our travels because we never had enough room to charge both of our phones at the same time, but this adapter completely solves that problem. Additionally, (and I had no known this when I had purchased this) but these USB chargers appear to rapid charge chargers. I had only had one other one of these, which had come with my Iphone X when I had purchased it, and I later looked around to purchase another rapid charger, but it was just too expensive for the need I had... But I was amazed when I charged my iphone at home in the US with this... It charged it just as fast as the iPhone X rapid charger. So suffice to say, this handy little item is not going to be packed away for later use with the travel accessories, but will be left out for our daily home use to rapid charge all of our iphone products (being that it has a US adapter as well). I do, as well, look forward to using this for our next international trip. This is really an amazing deal for the price.***** Just a side note. I love the fact that it has a fuse, and a replacement. This extra layer of safety is something else we didn't have with our other adapters either. Makes me feel more secure that our expensive iphone products will be protected. I would highly recommend this product!

However, a minor hiccup occurred in Indonesia where, despite fitting the sockets, using the two-prong plug resulted in occasional shocks when devices were connected. This might not necessarily be a fault of the adapter itself but rather a compatibility issue with Indonesia’s specific electrical infrastructure.While it excelled in functionality and ease of use, prospective users should be cautious about potential compatibility issues in countries with unique socket designs, such as the deep round sockets found in parts of Indonesia. Despite this, the adapter’s performance and portability make it a recommended choice for international travelers, especially those who value efficiency and compact design.

It's great and very useful. Has lasted over a year so far. Not sure if the USB-C output is high though, so check that if you're looking for a fast-charging option.

This is by far the most convenient set of travel plugs I have ever bought, and well deserving of a 5 star review. I travel to Europe at least once a year, and have countless other plug converters, but this is the first one with built in USB ports and with the plugs built right in. The neat thing about this product is that I can use it while traveling in the US too, and can use it to plug in several items to the one outlet! when the product arrived I immediately used it to charge 5 items an iPhone, 2 Kindles, a Fitbit and a back up battery. All were about only halfway charged when I plugged them in, and all were fully charged when I checked a couple of hours later!This is a must-have item for foreign travel, but please make note that this is a PLUG ADAPTER, which allows your plug to fit into an outlet, and not a CURRENCY CONVERTER which would change the currency from 120V to 220V ! If you don't have DUAL VOLTAGE hairdryers and curling irons etc., you will either need to purchase new items, or purchase a CURRENCY CONVERTER.
