Great for a chewing dog
Went thru two strap seat belt anchors with a dog that is a very aggressive chewer. Once on a long distance drive. Ordered this to be at our location upon arrival and with this new anchor it was a very safe trip back home. He tried a couple of times to chew the anchor but gave up quickly. Product is awesome. Like it so much more than the ones that goes in the seat belt as those can get unlocked very easily when the dog steps on it. Highly recommend.

Strong
I had been using car safety tethers with plastic connectors for my puppy but as she grew (70 lbs @ 1 year), she snapped the plastic connectors. These Mighty Paw seat belt restraints connect to the seat frame and are much stronger with no plastic connectors. I am very pleased. I use both the 24” and 32” depending on the degree of restraint I need.

No more chewed seat belts
Finally a seatbelt my dog can't chew through! Very easy to install and the clip to attach to the harness is large and easy to use. Would highly recommend!

Great solution for dogs riding in cars!
10/4/19I purchased the Mighty Paw car dog harness & the Mighty Paw 32" cable leash, installed it today & I love it already.I've struggled this past 1.5 years to find a working solution to comfortably secure my small-medium 33 pound dog. My dog is too dog-gone smart and figured out how to click out of the leash version that secures into the seat belt latches by the 2nd car ride! Every car ride after, without fail, my dog clicked out until I gave up and let her ride loose in the back.Securing a leash/belt to the child seat anchors inside the seat ended up being a no-go as well once I put a car seat cover to protect my car from all the sand/mud/hair that my dog would track after visits to the dog park. Running the car seat leash through the cover's buckle opening defeated the purpose of the seat cover as a lot of the sand/dirt would get through that opening! My dog riding loose in the back always made me uneasy though as I know from first hand experience that in an accident *knock on wood*, things happen quickly and unsecured items/people/living beings become missiles.FINALLY, I saw Mighty Paws' leash/harness combo on Amazon. The combination of the longest 32" cable leash with the harness allowed me to leash my dog to the child seat anchor in the back of the car (going behind the headrest). Though meant for a large dog, the longer cable allows my small-medium dog to just barely be able to lie down while anchored to the rear child seat anchor. Smart design in having the harness/leash buckle placed lower on the back to brace my dog across her chest rather than across her neck. One "con" is that I wish the plastic buckles were metal (like the d-ring & the ring behind the neck). Otherwise, the harness seems well-made and I plan to use it as my dog's regular every day harness. My mind is at ease now while traveling with my dog in the car (for a reasonable price too!), thank you Mighty Paw!

Works pretty well, but my dog already got loose from it
This is my first time using a restraint like this on my dogs in my car. Usually I just have a leash looped around the headrest, but my newest dog is a chewer and I needed something she couldn't chew through. Unfortunately the clasp isn't locking and my other dog was pawing at her and when she pulled back her harness slipped right out of the restraint. For a single dog, this will probably work great. For an escape artist or two dogs being transported at the same time, this might not be the best option.

Easy install, easy clip on off
Easy to snap onto anchor bar buried behind seat crevice.Easy to snap carabiner on off dog harness D ring.I use the "large" long length for daily travel in the backbseat for 104 lb German Shepherd. Center anchor gives him leeway side to side but not enough to exit windows.I use the "small" short length for when I have human rider in front passenger seat. Anchor clipped to left rear anchor bar prevents K9 from intruding into center console/passenger's space....not everybody likes puppy kisses.

This does the trick with keeping a dog who chews through everything safe in the car.

Safe and easy to use
Easy to clip on to wriggling pups harness. Strong enough for chewers too. I will be ordering more. Best so far.

Carabina is made of plastic not metal
It appears to be a good investment for my Staffy cross, she chewed through her material seat belt. Disappointed the carabina clip is plastic. Thought they would have made the carabina clip of metal given the seat belt lead is twisted steel.
