XtremepowerUS 71" Slimline Aluminum Crossbed Pickup Truck Trailer Storage Box Crossover Tool Box Paddle Latches

I installed this on the front of my 26dbh Grey Wolf Rv right behind the propane tanks. It fits well though I did have to move the propane tanks forward about an inch. It’s good quality for its price but note the metal is thin way to easy to drill holes though so I image it cannot take a lot of abuse. And two issues; one handle fell apart immediately but I was able to repair it, second the hydraulic arm meant to keep it open does not work. However I am still very happy with the purchase.

I really like the spaciousness of and my husband can fit most his lightweight tools in it. Dislike: When it arrived it had a dent on one side I guess from the shipping. Didn’t want to go through the hassle of sending it back.

The box is a poor design. You have to use both handles open the toolbox, because the handle latches are not connected like most truck bed toolboxes. You can’t open the box while standing next to the truck, you have to climb into the bed then use both hands to release the latches independently. I would have returned it, but I have already drilled holes in it to mount in in my truck, since slotted holes were no predrilled like most over the rail truck bed toolbox. Don’t buy!

It opens independently from the front on each side so you'd have to climb in the back of the truck to open it. Terrible design.

Judging from other reviews . . maybe XtremePower makes them dented? like a style ? Keeping box tho' -- because I needed a box with these slim dimensions, low profile, etc. And price is obviously good, with two sets of keys. Unusual pattern, incredibly shiny - like tin foil; you can probably see it from outer space.

Each handle must be release separately. requiring operator to go around vehicle to access box. keys are hard to insert in locks. Overall quality and operation is very poor.
