Watch the Conner family as they deal with everyday problems like juggling work and family, and trying to make ends meet. The Conners know how to stick together, and are a real family, with comical antics along with dramatic moments. Roseanne and Dan are always there for each other, and their trio of children, as they watched them grow up, fall in love and make good and bad decisions. In Season Two watch the Conners take on the school council, police a coed party, lock-up the liquor cabinet and more.

Groundbreaking Family Comedy
What can I say about Roseanne and this show that hasn't already been said. It was groundbreaking for its time but still endures today.Roseanne and her family often had a lot of troubles and bad times just like anyone else at the time but even through it all they loved one another and were there for each other when it really counted.I would have to easily count this among one of my favorite shows all time and am looking forward to getting more of the seasons. While I wouldn't necessarily recommend younger kids watch the show because of some of the language and what not but I think it would be OK for PG13 and up. It could even be used with some kids as a springboard to discuss family issues, "growing up" topics, and even things such as depression.I recommend that you find it on TV check it out and then buy the seasons because you wont want to miss an episode and they tend to play certain episodes more than others on TV.Roseanne - The Complete First SeasonRoseanne - The Complete Second SeasonRoseanne - The Complete Third SeasonRoseanne - The Complete Fourth SeasonRoseanne - The Complete Fifth SeasonRoseanne - The Complete Sixth SeasonRoseanne: The Complete Seventh SeasonRoseanne - Season EightRoseanne: The Complete Ninth Season

check the running time...
when i saw Roseanne season two on the shelf with it's little sticker announcing that the episodes were the uncut "Network" versions i was so happy- as one who "whined" about the cut season one dvd i felt almost proud- like we had been heard then I, ever vigilant devided the running time by 24- the number of episodes they say are in the season two dvd box set and came up with an average of 22 minutes- not 24 which was the average leangth of the "network" versions! is it a mistake? did they originaly design the packaging with the syndicated/cut episode running times and not change the packaging instead opting for a cheaper sticker to provide that information or did they just stick it on the same syndicated/cut version of season two they were going to release anyway?I guess i'll find out if i buy season two and compare the episedes to the original network versions i have.Just trying to give people a warning unless the studio's are up to their usual cheap tricks. If so Roseanne deserves better, if not re-release season one in the uncut versions and all will be forgiven Carsey/Werner.(...)

She never fails to make me smile.
It's Roseanne. The best of the best. I would never disgrace her with a bad review. She is the highlight of the day and brings relief into your life when you feel everything is falling apart. She has you telling yourself, "I'm not the only one who feels that way. Good. That makes me feel better." My advice to anyone who has'nt given Rosanne a chance... Give it a chance. Especially if you have financial stuggles and dreams to do better in life. Roseanne has a good heart and she's real, not fake. It may be a 80's to 90's based T.V show, but there is alot of irratating things in this world, especially today, that still happen since then that effects people nerves and emotions and sometimes the best medicine for this emotional stess, (especially if another cup of coffee does'nt cut it) is a episode or more of Roseanne. I will admit that Roseanne has been there for me even if it's on my T.V. Like I mentioned before, if you have'nt yet, give it a chance.

Roseanne Season 2 - ALREADY?! 8-D
Well! I'm surprised that the second season is being released so quickly! At this rate, they'll have all 9 seasons out in maybe 3 years, which means I better clear some space on my shelf! I didn't have a problem with the Season 1 set, perhaps because I didn't really tune into Roseanne until it went into syndication, but I was surprised to see so many people complaining about it.Don't get me wrong, I prefer the uncut episodes myself! [...]The second season of Roseanne brought the series more to life, IMHO, with the characters each exploring their own directions, instead of Roseanne and her friends working in that factory, which was, in all honesty, a little dull, and if you check Roseanne's interview on the Season 1 set, you'll see she agrees with me 100% on that one, lol.To get these episodes unedited, I'm anxious to see them in their original formats! It's like seeing them again for the first time!Hope you enjoy it as much as I will!
