Tire Shinko E705 4.10-18 tire's actual weight is 12lbs 2.183oz.
The tire's weight is incorrectly listed, I just weighed the NEW tire today and it weighs 5505 grams which converts to 12lbs 2.183oz. Nowhere near the 30 pounds listed in the ad. even the shipping weight would not be anywhere close to 30 pounds.

Great on pavement. Not for serious dirt riding. Stay out of the mud, for there lurks the skid demon.
As long as you understand that the Shinko 705 is intended for 80% street riding and 20% dirt you will be pleased with this tire. Great on pavement, gravel roads, and hard packed dirt roads and trails. Loose dirt or turf, be careful. Mud, forget it.Some of the compaints others have made about this tire, and others, could be due to under inflation for high-speed pavement use. Any tire will shred itself to junk if run low on air with a heavy load at high speed on a hot day. Air it up to 30- 35 PSI for road use.

I waw looking for a 90/10 tire for my Kawasaki KL250. This was a good bet- good price and smooth pavement ride. Installed myself with little grief. Would recommend to others.

Five Stars
so far so good. Very nice on the road, and were pretty impressive in the dirt, sand, and mud.

Price is right, but motorcycle tires always seem expensive ...
Price is right, but motorcycle tires always seem expensive compared to car tires. Especially since they do not last very long.
