This works great for extracting garlic from cloves. I don't even peel the cloves. I squeeze and the garlic comes out. The skin usually peels off in one peel for quick cleaning. Cleaning is pretty simple because everything is easy to access and not much garlic gets stuck in it.

Well made, does a great job pressing garlic cloves. I've tried it on pieces of ginger but I've gotten mixed results. I've used other presses in the past that weren't strong enough to adequately press the clove or were weak and broke easily. So far, this one works great and seems to be well made and I'm confident it will hold up. If you need a well made garlic at a decent price, I highly recommend this.

I'm very glad I bought this item. Other garlic presses I've used feel like they might break any moment or I feared it won't quite get the job done, but not with this item. It is extremely sturdy and I can use it with confidence. I've no doubt it will last me a lifetime.

When you initially open the box it looks like the garlic press is small. But, it’s small and mighty! The cavity to insert the garlic clove is deep and can even hold large cloves. It’s easy to press. The garlic press is easy to use and easy to clean. I’m liking this press way better than my old one.

Right out of the box, the item had a large area of discoloration and I could see rust was beginning its phase. Photo attached. I’ll be paying more money for a higher quality brand.

I like that this garlic press is all one piece and not too large to fit in the utensil drawer. I wash it on the top rack of the dishwasher. It is durable and easy to use.

Super well constructed, effective, and pretty easy to clean as garlic presses go. Excellent tool!

Pros:- strong. Crushes garlic easily, no bending or stressing of the metal.- the "prongs" on the crusher side match up with the holes on the container side and push ALL of the garlic out through the holes so that no garlic is remaining inside the holes. This is a much bigger benefit than I guessed it would be, I really like this.- easy to clean. Far easier to clean than any other crusher we've owned. I think this is mostly due to the prongs pushing all of the garlic through the holes.- compact size. It fits well in our cutlery drawer, much better than our last 2 crushers. Yet the amount of garlic it can crush is not compromised - it has a good size crushing compartment.Con:- a small amount of garlic squirts around the crusher and up the sides of the container so that you have to recapture it and crush it on your next try. It's not a large amount, far less than our last crusher, but unfortunately a little bit does sneak by. We've only owned one crusher that did not allow garlic to sneak by and that crusher had multiple other negatives.So overall I thin this is a very good crusher. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is only because of the the one "con".

I try some garlic press to replace an old Ikea garlic press that handles broke. And i was not satisfied with the design and/or functionality of the two first. The metal plactic version have push pins not aligned with the holes (failure).I bought another that resemble a shovel handle in stainless with holes (that i was expecting to be great) but deception again it doesn't make a puree it just press the garlic cloves in thin film since even with great pressure the garlic wont pass trough the holes a lot. Not good for a recipe unless it requires some garlic flakes...BUT this ONE from Coson it very well made made from all in one molded 2 pieces handles. That supported big pressure from my big hand. The garlic is pressed out of the holes with push pins that are long enough.I am very satisfied by this product that i expected to last a long time, thank Coson.

lovr it love it love it....been wanting one for a while and finally got one.some much easier than cutting up garlic and you get more flavour from the garlic as all the goodness and oils from the garlic get outleashed.super easy to clean. Just make sure to rinse it as soon as you are finished using it. much.much much easy to clean when garlice remnince is still fresh

We started getting Hello Fresh meals back mid-2020 and lots of our recipes called for crushed garlic. So I bought this to round out our kitchen gadgets. It is easy to use and does a good job. It is a good sturdy metal and easy to clean. When you press the garlic the only "issue" is that some of the garlic gets stuck between the tines, so you have to use a knife or fork to get it out if you are pressing >1 clove. Overall not a big issue.

The garlic press works well, feels sturdy and is easy to clean . Since my original cast garlic press ( from the 90's) finally gave up the ghost, I have purchased three new presses , this being the third and only one that has worked to my satisfaction. The durability will be told over time and use, but it certainly seems solid and works smoothly. No garlic gets squished up the side and the entire clove gets pressed . I like that it comes with its own brush but I don't care so much for the silicone tube roll peeler, I find it quicker to peel the garlic by hand. On the plus side the silicone roller makes a great pot handle cover and fits perfectly on my cast iron frying pan!For the price, I am quite happy with this purchase. I would definitely recommend it if you were looking for a good garlic press.
