RJ matthews Ration Plus Supplement for Horses

My old mare didn't seem to mind the flavor, which is great for a picky eater. But I didn't notice any change in almost 90 days. So I moved on as it's too expensive to not see results for my mare.

Good product

I have a 27 yr old horse I have had him 8 years and the entire time he had gas colic and explosive loose stool every year I expected a 600 dollar vet bill for his episode of colic the answear was always he's old . I had tried everything it got to the point it hurt me to see him and couldn't fix it. Then he started to drop wt I had read this was used in rescue horses under wt so I bought it not expecting much but this is my forth bottle and I love it no colic this year recently my husband had surgery and I wasn't able to give it everyday and he started to loose at again and started having loose stool once getting it again he is back to normal .. Great product !!

This seems to be helping my gelding improve his digestion; no more random "cow patties" and he is gaining weight. This liquid formula that must be measured, then poured over and mixed into his pellets each morning is definitely more work than other products I have used, but if it works it is worthwhile. (please note the horse has been seeing our vet and his weight and stool are within the "normal range". This is not a substitute for vet care!)

This stuff is literally magic. Fed it daily or keep it on hand for when you have a horse with an upset tummy. Works amazing

My mini mare developed laminitis and as a result we changed her food. Because of the change in her diet she refused to eat and lost weight she didn’t need to lose. I started adding Ration Plus to plain, soaked beet pulp and now she has started regaining weight she lost and is eating everything we offer her. Her eyes are bright and she is her happy little self again.

I know this is a Pre-biotic but that's what makes probiotics work! Horses have such sensitive digestion anything that helps them digest better is great and this product makes my horses eat and feel better and more consistent. You can give your pet all the probiotics in the world but without a Pre-biotic to help prepare their digestive tract the probiotics do almost nothing. In fact with this product the normal digestive cycle will increase the natural number of digestive enzymes so this product may be all you need. Someone recommended this product to me and I have never met anyone who did not love the results.

I actually had an older horse in the original product trials for Ration Plus when it was developed years ago. We had relocated her 1500 miles with a move and she started losing weight. It worked miracles for her. I have an older mare now that I bought it for... and it's hard to find.
