Arus Women's Pacific Hooded Turkish Cotton Bath Robe with Full Length Options

Very pleased, this robe is exactly as pictured and described. It is not heavy, yet not overly lightweight, is feels soft and appears to be well made (as with anything these days time will tell how long it lasts). For years I put up with a super heavy unisex terry cloth robe that was bulky and when it was wet it was like wearing an anchor, good riddance to it! I am 68 years old with a bad back, 142 lbs, 5 ft 7.5 with broad shoulders and long arms and I chose the large and the fit is quite generous without looking ridiculously oversized the way the unisex "one size fits all' robes tend to be. Sleeves come to the middle joints of my fingers with arms down at my sides and the length is to the tops of my feet, so there's room for shrinkage once I wash it. I do wish it had a few more inches of width at the bottom to have less of a gap when sitting and lying on a lounge chair and l was tempted to order the extra large for that reason, but decided against it as then it would be oversized for my frame, plus with an extra large I would have to roll up the sleeves and I really like the finished edge as it is. There is ample room to add some inner ties to help close up the gap which I might do if I find it really bugs me. The color is closer to a mauve than a plum and that's okay because it is still very pleasant. If you're looking for something that will stand out more you might want to consider the burgundy. If this one holds up well after a few washes I may also order a burgundy to keep one for the yard for the pool/hottub and one for the house for bathing and lounging. I should also add that it arrived on the schedule date and was well folded and packaged. All things considered at this point I feel this was money well spent and am quite pleased with this purchase and do highly recommend this company.

I was looking for a bathrobe for a while, this one is perfect. Bathrobe = the stuff you wear coming out of the shower to dry yourself instead of using a towel, NOT the crap made out of fleece that you wear around the house to keep warm or something. This bathrobe is AMAZING. It's the perfect material, absorbent and soft (not fleece soft obviously, towel soft). I have had it for 3 months, loved it so much, my husband was jealous, so I bought one for him too. For people who says it's not heavy, that's stupid. It doesn't need to be heavy, it needs to be absorbent, and it is. Much better than most towels actually. But even at that, it is fairly heavy. I have washed mine many times, it shrunk the first time minimally (my husband noticed it more than I did, maybe by 1/2 inch), has not lost color and has not lost any fluff. Still soft (not soft like fleece, that's not the point), still nice (I suspect people who say it isn't soft forget to put fabric softener when they do their laundry). As usual when you get this sort of product, when it comes, it smells factory like, so just wash it (who wouldn't wash this sort of things first anyway?) I am 5'3'', 200 lbs, and I took the XL. Because I wanted something that would wrap me all the way, that would cover my whole body (boobs and butt included) and would not feel tight, and that would be long. If I dont tie the belt, it touches the floor, if I tie the belt, it's at my ankles. Perfect. There is plenty of space to wrap myself all the way in. Large would probably have sufficed but I prefer the XL. Arm length is of course long, but I dont care. My husband is 6'1'', 200lbs and he also took the XL. It fits him very well. Length is at the calves, arm length is perfect. He can wrap himself all the way into it. He loves it. The hood is great. Plenty big, I don't use a towel for my hair anymore. All in all, this is so perfect, and durable. Exactly what I wanted. Now I feel like a jedi each time I come out of the shower!

This is a really nice, high quality robe that should last many years. Very comfortable to wear. For me, the only two drawbacks are it's a bit too long when I am going up stairs and I have to be careful not to catch the hem on my foot. And it is not a good summer robe as it is very cushy and warm. But all-in-all I am very pleased with it.

This robe runs small (in my opinion) and I think is a bit overpriced, but is a much better option than other robes I found elsewhere for the price. The fit: I am currently 40 weeks pregnant, 5'6 and 180 lbs. I ordered an XL tall because I wanted to be dwarfed by this robe and have it touch my feet. After washing once, this robe hits just above my ankles, but I think it will hit a bit lower once the baby belly is out of the way. The sleeves aren't drowning me and go to the end of my fingertips, so not a crazy length that I was expecting with the "XL Tall" size. For reference, pre pregnancy I was 130 lbs and I do think that the robe would give the desired "oversized effect" at my pre pregnancy size. The quality: Other reviewers mentioned that the threads were coming out after the first wash. I can confirm that this is true, though it's not exactly falling apart at the seams, just shedding loose threads. I am interested to see how it holds up over time. For the price I would expect a thicker, more heavy duty product. This is essentially like an XL Terry cloth towel, which you can find a 40 x 80 size for $30 on here, so I think the pricing is a touch high, but I couldn't find anything better for cheaper, either. Comfort: This is not as thick or plush as I would have liked, it's about the same as a mid-quality towel in terms of thickness, though in feeling the robe and feeling one of my towels from target, it's not as soft as the towel but I would still consider it very cozy.

I am 5.9 athletic build and I could never find the right rope for me. They are either too short or too bulky. this one is M/Tall and it fits perfect! It even makes me look slimmer somehow. I think I could try S/tall as well. Also the material feels natural, soft but super observing like a towel. It's not too thick or thin either. Absolute perfect perfection 👌🏻

normally would take a small BUT people did mention shrinkage (its 100% cotton) so I ordered the medium. Had the factory smell on arrival but I always wash all purchases straight away. Washed in Warm water in machine and dried on Medium heat NO shrinkage! I love that it is absorbent (blended fabrics do not), the hood the comfort is great. I like that it is not too heavy nor overly soft, this works for me perfectly for home use. Might be a bit bulky for travel but that is NO fault of the manufacturer it is WELL worth money!!!

Product is as expected. The hood seemed overly large, once on it comes down past eyes. Otherwise it fits as a housecoat normally would wraps around a overlaps a bit. Its floor length. If you are shorter you will likely need to shorten.

I originally purchased this housecoat after the one I bought in Europe 15 years ago could no longer be worn. This is towel material and absorbs really well. I typically wear a medium or large but decided to order an extra large because I like my house coats to fit baggy. It fits exactly as I wanted and wraps around me one and a half times! I am 5’6” and weight 175 pounds. The housecoat almost touches the floor and I absolutely love it. So nice to have a quality housecoat without the price tag and no fleecy material!
